from Jerusalem Post:

"'This incident underscores the troubling reality that there is no religious freedom in Saudi Arabia. The fact is that in Saudi Arabia a person is not free to practice their faith even in the privacy of their own home. While Saudi Arabia strictly bans all public displays of faith that are not Islamic, storming into a private home and imprisoning immigrants exposes the real nature of religious freedom in the kingdom – it doesn’t exist unless you’re a Muslim who practices a government-approved Islamic faith,' Jordan Sekulow, executive director of the Washington- based American Center for Law and Justice, wrote to The Jerusalem Post by email on Saturday.

"Sekulow, whose organization works to promote religious freedom abroad, added,'Also disturbing is the all-too-common tactic used by governments to alter charges placed against Christians. Such a move does nothing to conceal the fact that these Christians are being persecuted for their faith. No matter how the government attempts to position their persecution, the fact is clear – Christians are labeled criminals because of their faith. Saudi Arabia is one of a number of nations that fails to protect the rights of religious minorities ..."

Not just "fails to protect," but persecutes religious minorities.

Someone from a third world nation desperate for work -- saudis hire non-nationals to do menial tasks at very low wages.

Educated Folks! I always find these imbecilic nutjobs give themselves names like "THOMASS"; "Winnfield Kid"; "Reality is always best (who has no clue as to what Reality IS)"; "Observer (who should only be observing and that's it)"; "Olivia Crumwell"; "The Professor'; "Truth"; The Prophet"; "Truth Seeker" are deranged uneducated low IQ Brainwashed Low Life Nut Cases! They are on some big huge ego trip all the time and think nobody notices their ignorance! It's obvious the clowns have never had any formal education what-so-ever but like to think they have! Everything they post is always 180 degrees off what a normal educated person would think, believe and understand! There is never any rational thinking and researching facts is out of the question as it never crosses their little pea brain in their little world of make believe! It's a sad situation as these clowns go around making themselves look like complete fools and imbeciles every time they post something! Sad!! Very SAD!

Notice how the U.S. is completely silent? We wouldn't want to upset our and Israel's biggest ally in the middle east.

Because our western politicians are afraid they will be called 'islamophobic' and bigots when speaking out against the many many ills within islam and islamic cultures.

It is exactly what the inventors of the word islamophobe wanted. They want to try to silence any criticisms of islam and weak western liberal mindsets fall for it.

I'd have to disagree with that, the number one military power in the middle east is Israel, suprisingly the number two power is Saudi Arabia. What do they have in common? massive U.S. military aid.Threats to the military industrial complex makes cowards of American politicians, not name calling

Oh, stop the silly childish ignorant nonsensical rants you filthy Arab scumbag! You've been told this a million times but STILL COME BACK WITH YOUR FILTHY IGNORANT LIES AND PROPAGANDA!! Not leaving out Saudi Arabia, we give billions to other foreign countries!! 3 billion a year to just to Pakistan alone!! Now, do some flippin' research and get back to us scumbag clown and tell us how much we give to Arab Muslim countries! Who took foreign aid money from us and other countries and banked it in numerous accounts as his people suffered! Why it was your hero Arafat!! At least Israel does not use foreign aid and train terrorists, harbor terrorist or build mosques to incite hatred!
Some reasons US needs Israel as its staunch ally:
A. It’s the only democracy in the Arab sewer region known as the Middle East
B. It shares boots on the ground Intel with the US Intelligence
C. 60% of Israel's Jews have originated from Arab countries look Arab, and speak fluent Arabic its spies can penetrate where no US spy can
D. Israel took out Saddam's nuclear reactor saving thousands of US GI lives during Desert Storm.
E. When the US needed Intel on a new Russian made radar, Israeli commandos raided Shadwan Island, killing the Egyptian garrison and airlifted the whole radar station to US Intelligence.
F. Recently the Mayor of Los Angeles accompanied LAPD officers to Israel where they were trained by Israel anti-terrorism experts to better protect US citizens
G. Recently Israel formed an military alliance with Canada, Cyprus, and several major African nations, and soon will form an alliance with Vietnam.

The anti-Israel whiners should do some soul searching to try and see what their problem is. Whatever the reason for their personal phobia, psychosis or political reasons they may have it is of no consequence or importance. Israel is very important to the US and it is in our national interest to keep it strong as our ally.

I agree with that also. Sadly, Saudi Arabia is an "ally" and a bad one at that.

But do yourself a favor....research where the word islamophobe came from, why and how it was 'invented' and how it affects western societies/politicians.

Correction from my above post to you....I agree that Saudi gets alot of US military aid and so long as the Saudi Royals appear to be tough with extremists, then no criticism or very little will happen. Pakistan also gets alot of US aid, but do you think they really are fighting terrorism 100% though?

Followers of islam are even trying to have any criticism of islam outlawed on a global scale....check out the "Istanbul Process" and also what has been suggested by muslim states within the UN.

Western politicians are weak....they just should come right out and say it that islam sucks and is bad for the west.

Hypocritical, isn't it, to demand something they're not willing to do for others in Saudi
