Nazir wrote: <quoted text> out of curiosity are bosniaks the result of harems or just converts ? there are many versions for bosniaks, most plausable ones are: 1) they are converted slavs; 2) they are converted croatians, serbs, slovenians; 3) they are converted bulgarian bogomils with mix of other slav people...I personally do not know which version to support nor whether they have been converted by force or willingly. For sure, however, Bosnia lays in the middle between the catholic and ortodoxal worlds and converting locals to another religion has not been a hard task. In addition, during Yugoslavia, Tito was creating new nations just like Russians did - this is how 3 new nations appeared -'muslims','macedonians' and 'kosovars'. Wars in Yugoslavia were a consequence of this nation design experiment.

So if we were "resilient Bulgarians", we would've remained so, instead of go for "imagionary" Macedonian identity, invented by our ocupators. Does this make sense for you. Btw you can still be "traitor" in your head and in your home, can't you? Why there are less then 500 Bulgarians in Macedonia then, there must have been more who kept their identity secretly?

Milena, look I am a mix like everyone else. Like you said before Slavic is a language not a race. You are telling me that we speak Bulgarian and the Greeks invented for your pleasure? Is the Slavic language Greek or not? I personally don't like causing waves between all our people. But there is no clear leader that the Balkans truly needs. So Turkey has stepped up. Even though they are Muslim they have been like an older brother to us. If Bulgaria, Serbia, or Greece were truly our brothers they would have stepped up and guided us towards something good and not wishing death on us. Milena N wrote: <quoted text> And speaking of hate.Look at your media and look at ours. You are the ones spewing hate toward all of us.Frankly,I don't think that's very good strategy for a spit size of a country like yours.Pretty stupid actually.Turkey's your friend. This is fcking hilarious!Who do you think they'd support if the Albanians go after you?Do you think Turks gonna take the side of some Orthodox Christians against their Muslim Albanian brothers?Think again!

Ok, and all these scattered people all the sudden became pure nations again? I'm not saying we are I'm saying no one is. This ancient quest I don't understand. What I do understand is that chances are we are all a mix of the same soup and only Greece has rights to it. And they are mismanaging it so someone else needs to step up if they don't. se moa wrote: <quoted text> very, very wrong, mister..'macedonia' never existed in any Bulgarian books as it was always part of Bulgaria. In 14th century it was part of the Serbs Dushan kingdom..I reckon Serbs also have this in their books. Also, if you ask any Greeks here, and I am sure they have studied medieval history at school, during Basil II, in 12th century, Moeisa, Thrace and Macedonia as a whole part of Bulgaria became part of the Eastern Roman Empire. During that period, greek people settled around the Black sea coast and Bulgarians settled in the Aegean and Thessaloniki/Solun. In the next few hundred centuries nobody was really bothered of history, people just lived in mixed areas. Your newly created republic in fact includes only a very small part of the historical region macedonia, wester parts are actually albanian and never been referred to as macedonia. Imagine what will happen, if a bunch of people try to tell croatians and albanians they are adriatians???

'peace and love'...just a note to your words...you said 'serbia and bulgaria OFFICIALLY are not our enemies'...So, unofficially we are your enemies? And as far as I know, you are struggling to enter NATO and EU...Do you know that NATO is a club for friends only? How OFFICIALLY Greece could be your enemy and yet you want to be allies with them? Does not make sense, does it?...Many, many things you have to reconsider, history and honesty will be just the beginning...

Dejan, until 1944 there were 1,5 miliion Bulgarian in vardarska. In 1945 all they disappeared and suddenly 1,5 million yugoslavian 'macedonians' took their place. What a miracle, don't you think? Yet, it is not a miracle. In 1917, there were 100.000 million Russians. In 1918 after the communism, these turned into Soviet people. In 1944 there were no israelis. In 1950 somehow they were numbered approx. 5 million...Needless to continue...And don't tell me it is Peter Pan who did all this..
