"Our neighbour Turkey"

The Greek lift of previous veto and saying
YES
to

European Union-Turkey Customs Union

was REALLY HELPFUL FOR THE TURKISH ECONOMY

On 31 December 1995 the customs union between Turkey and the European Union came into effect. Goods can travel between the two entities without any customs restrictions. The Customs Union does not cover essential economic areas, such as agriculture, to which bilateral trade concessions apply, services or public procurement. The EU-Turkey Customs Union is one of the steps towards full Turkish membership of the European Union itself.

"Our neighbour Turkey" part 2

As for the Sevre Maps

Everyone can use historical or military
Maps
and should be judged in the context of his
actions

Turkish Maps with transformed greek islands
into turkish

is very usual

THE TURKISH STUDENTS OF PUBLIC SCHOOL ARE TAUGHT AN IRREDENTISM THAT EXCEEDS THE LIMITS OF ABSURD. Extreme antihellenism of Turkish books

"Under Greek possession are found the islands of Aegean"!

- Page 19: "The islands of Aegean are found today under Greek possession".–
-
- Page 21: "Greece does not have the force to maintain in the Aegean the peace".(!!!)- Page 65: "The peace in the Middle East and the safety in Asia it is possible to maintain itself with the return of these islands in Turkey".–
-
- Page 110: "Turkey determined her territorial waters in the 6 miles the 1930. Chios, the Mitilini and Samos is found in in territorial waters of Turkey. The right of sovereignty of country in her own her territorial waters allows it practises the same rights in the islands that are found in these waters ".

book of History (publication 1996) which is taught today systematically in Turkish school of 8 years of obligatory study. The particular book, the "rights of Turkey in the Aegean"!!!!!!!!!!Ege Denizinde Turk Haklari) and circulated for first time in the neighbour in 1955 with the signature of Turku of professor of History Mehmet Saka'

Imagine such greek school book

What goes around comes around. This is the rule in life and politics. Whatever is happening is happening for a reason. If nobody sees the reason why Turkey is getting the shaft, then try to figure out the reason turkey tried, tries, and keeps trying to shaft the greeks. Greeks dont hate the turks. Hate is a very strong word and it's not the way Greece is behaving towards Turkey as it is clearly evident. There seems to be a greater power dealing the hands here for everybody and in the end everybody will get what they deserve.

How many years have they been fighting with each other? A couple of thousand! I have been in both countries several times. In Greece there certainly is no Love towards Turkey. The things that is so incredibly interesting is that Greece is so incredibly beautiful and Turkey sort of the opposite!

Some reasons people go to Turkey year after year is to enjoy the Mediterranean sunshine, ancient Greek ruins plus Turkey is diiiiirt cheap. Even Greeks from nearby islands go shopping in Turkey on a regular basis....but you gotta be careful, you get what you pay for. Even the vacation homes and hotels are not built with good quality materials and start cracking even before they are finished, although I've heard they are now applying somewhat tougher laws on construction.

If you look at the size comparison between both countries and the population numbers, it would be fair to state on that basis that Turkey has a harder job to maintain the country, however, both countries are remarkably beautiful, and any fool that states otherwise speaks in hatred from his golo.

THE REALITY IS: THE TURKS SHOULD JUST GO HOME. THE REAL TURKISH HISTORY IS IN THE MUSEUMS OF MONGOLIA. THEY DON'T BELONG THERE IN ASIA MINOR. THE TURKISH LANGUAGE (HAHA) HAS A LATIN ALPHABET. IT'S A BASTARDIZED BREED OF PEOPLE. THEY HAVE THE SAME COMMON INTERESTS OF THE USA AND ISRAEL. THEY ALL LIVE ON THE LAND THAT THE HAVE STOLEN.

it seems that venizelos was right to try to free thrace, ionia, hellispont, and bithany! the shady treatment and banning greeks from a whole slew of professions shows what kind of people we're talking about. instagating riots against the greek populations in constantinople tells us all! all this after 1923. those areas have been greek for thousands of years, you cant dispute that! the truth is that nor the west or the east wanted to see greece restore itself to its true borders! and to ex. of gr., we cant wait to reem all you mongoloids in the ass! and bust one on that chin. a blessed man is one who can say i am GREEK!

a blessed man is the one who is not absessed with ass and who is a human and decent person who has no need to judge others based on their ethnicity. what is with the ass and the Greeks? can you guys stick it to somebody intellectually and why the need to put others down and the name calling? are you that insecure? the Greek thing can't be a blessing if you people are so hateful? is being Greek the only thing you have to show for? have you done anything so special in life other than inheriting your parents heritage? I am afraid you can't hide behind your heritage and that can only take you so far.
a loser with Greek or any other heritage is still a loser who is Greek and nothing more.

dear gatee, my coments were posted for exposer of greeks. generalizing all greeks as poustis! so i gave him somthing to chew on. as for you , dont talk to me about intelect when you cant even spell "obsessed". and as for hate, a greeks passion is epic. whether its love , hate , joy or sorrow. we feel it to the max! and as far as my heritage goes i relish in it, and proud that my roots are rich in hellenism. p.s. being greek is a blessing! but i guess you dont know what thats like, do you?
