Hope Obama has the Balls to protect American Citizens...DITTO for those taken by Pirates...There was a time instant action would have been taken... BUT ITS CHANGE NOW!and NO WE CAN"T!!Rules in the Not So white House! And they are idiots, pure and simple idiots. But, fortunately for them, the US will do everything they can to get them out. And in the process, Iran will use their blatant stupidity as bargaining chips to get what the want from us. I hope these 3 get a bill from the US to pay back all the $$$$ spent by us taxpayers getting their stupid rear ends out of there. BTW, when American citizens or resident aliens leave sovereign US territory, they no longer have "rights". Their "rights" are governed by the country they are in, or by agreements/treaties, if any.

Iran knew Reagan would not put up with their crap for a second. That sand turd in Libya did not get the memo, and look at what happened to him. Planted a daughter I believe.

These three stooges are probably liberal morons who can't decipher a GPS device or went on their little hike without one. Who in their right mind goes on a vacation on the freakin' Iran Iraq border?
I have NO sympathy for these boobs.
Just tell the Iranians that you have become a Muslim and want to live in hell with them permanently.

They were scared shitless of Reagan. It wasn't going to end if Carter was reelected. They were crossing their fingers and holding out as long as possible. Everyone said when Obama was president the terrorist and wackos would start the car bombings and other crazy stuff again. No one is scared of Obama. Look at things now.

Maybe they were part of the Twitter Revolution in Iran. do you honestly think that the US is going to rush in and take these stupidos out? Look how long Israel has been trying to get their soldier back...years. But there are other stupidos, hired by Al Gore who did the SAME THING in NORTH KOREA! What absolutely STUPID people that would go near these dangerous borders. HIKING....oh my god, they're STUPID! I wouldn't call the hikers stupid. Careless, confused, poor map skills, they could have gotten lost and turned around, who knows. They may have felt it was safe hiking within Iraq's border. Tourists sometimes toss common sense out the window. That is what I would question—their common sense. This problem will have to be handled diplomatically. It's all a game of one-upmanship for Ahmadinejad. He thrives on the melodrama and of course, all the media attention.

The press never brings him up...but if it was under the Bush presidency the media would be all over it. One thing one can learn is forget the press bullshit. Hope all get home safely...perhaps Bill could fly over and pick them up on Al's private jet. For the greater good or..... I didn't know their religion, but I'd bet everything I own they are "progressives" as well as other sundry things that have already been pointed out.

Most likley they have duel citizenship and like they always do when they get caught spying for Massad and Israel they pull out their American citizenship even though they were acting as agents for a foreign Government - Israel! Any other time they would be doing Israel's dirty work in and to America.

Isreal can protect her own interests. As for the three hikers they are so stupid they wouldn't know a secret Bomb making plant if you threw them a party there. They were horsing around, being cute, probably betting each other who would get closest to the border when the Irani guards caught them just over the border. They will use them to leverage the U S, and Isreal. The U S, with their weak leadership, will back down, I don't think Isreal will.

Couldn't help myself. Anyway, Obama wants to make Anthony Sowell the next "Safety Czar for Women" I other news, these three would never have been caught but the guy with the sunglasses turned to look at Iran one last time and his nose knocked over a Minaret in Tehran. It was all downhill from there. He was accused of keeping national secrets in his left nostril and an F-15 in his right.
