i have been living in peru for 15 months and i want to run away from here, i never met so many stupid, ignorant and RACIST people like here. thry think that all white people are stupid and you can't even try to explain to them that they are so primitive because they are so thick

HELL NO ! peruvian I'm not ! Please don't insult me. I know these facts because I like to travel all over the world. I visit countries with a longer stay than most folks just vacationing. Peru is a wonderful country full of CULTURES, it is not the same everywhere you go. And its food is one of the best in the world.
Yes you will find many "primitive" people because they did not have the money and education you all had. Peru is (except the capital Lima) a poor country. But you will also see very humble and kind people. THEY ARE NOT STUPID, YOU ARE STUPID IF YOU THINK THAT. There had been many chess champions from the Sierra, which is the "poorest" part of Peru. Peru is divided in 3; Coast ("Whiter" people if you may and modern stuff), Sierra (WHERE THE FAMOUS LLAMAS LIVE)And Selva (The Jungle).

YOU're being misinformed buddy. Treat others like YOU would like to be treated. Perhaps not YOU that started this. Address your posts to your countrymen. For the most part (not all) peruvians are very stupid, most like to insult and spew offensive remarks to others, and when other people return their offensive comments in the same manner, they get offended.

People from Latin America are very proud of their culture and traditions. And they should be. In my opinion, one is not more than the other. They all face the same problem POVERTY, one it's not better off than the other. But when one starts critizing the other, giving themselves airs of grandeur, well that's when problems erupt. That's when peruvians don't stand a chance here, meaning they're the losers here. Best regards from the US.

Well, here it is a custom to say i am peru, not literally obviously, but as a sign of pride. There are stupid people wherever you go, but the real problem is when someone from a totally different country arrives, and sometimes the locals dont get what they are saying, every problem starts with the lack of good communication. And no, for the most parts peruvians are not very stupid, for the most parts they are hard working, humble, bright people, but didnt have a propper chance of education. Mario vargas llosa has just won the nobel prize of literature btw. There are many musical talents here as well. every country has its own things. Again, stupid people are EVERYWHERE.

But your countrymen seem to be in denial.

About the language communication, Spanish, English or any other language, when basically speaking people understand it. It's when people speak "slang" and/or colloquial informal speaking, that's when people get annoyed. That occurs in the US, Europe and other countries. Peruvians have their own colloquial informal speaking too.

I have this one Peruvian woman who works at my location at a retail center. OH MY GOD!!! I haven't met such a stupid, racist and greedy butch in my life! After working almost two years at my location I finally quit this morning in pursuit of a better job. The first thing I did today was googled about Peruvian mentality and google directed me to this forum here. Thought I just leave my two cents.

What did the Peruvians do to warrant such hate and angry posts? This is pure racism.

Racism my Ass!!! From what I have seen Peru's are a lot more racist then any race I have ever met. I'm good friends with a lot of Latinos but it is Peruvians that I have beef with.

What did they do ? it appears that you haven't read any of the other forums/threads. They always bashing/insulting/bad-mouthing Mexicans. Just because you know a few nice peruvians ( I do too) does not make all them bad. But the same thing goes for them too, they say that ALL Mexicans are bad. The peruvians generalize the whole country of Mexico. My posts are geared to the few nasty peruvians.
