McCain Says GOP Hurt By Immigration Fight

To really get rid of illegal aliens, please contact write, e-mail, fax or phone your government officials and tell them to vote for or discharge "The S.A.V.E. Act" (The Secure America Through Verification and Enforcement Act - bill H.R. 4088). In states like Arizona and Oklahoma where this has been voted in, illegals are leaving the state and country big time, because they can no longer find work. DON'T JUST COMPLAIN TO EACH OTHER. DO SOMETHING.

Senator McCain I was a supporter until I see you voted to have Social Security funds given to 12-14 million illegals. That is not what the vast majority of votng Americans want done with their money! You have shown me that you can't represent all of America, just a narrow group who have no respect for our history or culture. Shame on you!

McCain may win this election come November, but if he doesn't address the immigration issue in the way most Americans want, he wont get a second chance as far as I am concerned. Secure these borders from ALL illegal invaders, or kiss the job goodbye John Mac.

In 40 years of voting I have never seen such a deplorable choice of candidates. I thought 2000 and 2004 were bad but 2008 makes me wonder if American has any chance of survival in the future. Seems like very 4 years it gets worse and we're scraping the bottom of the barrel now.

You took an oath to uphold and defend the U.S. CONSTITUTION. Have you even read it. I have an extre copy if you need one. You sir have turn your back on the American Citizens. You and most of our elected officals should all be tried for TREASON. You have put every road block you can come up with so the immigration laws of the United States can't be enforced, then you have the B*LLS to say the laws are broken. Broken my as* Start inforcing them and you'll see how well they work.
We don't need ILLEGAL ALIENS to do the jobs Americans won't do. They did those jobs for generations untill the mexican invaders uncut wages to the degree that American couldn't feed their families.

Since more and more Mexican illegals are coming and taking over the U.S.A. and are treated better and get every benifit the goverment offer. I could get nothing when I really did need it. I and a lot of Americans like me have homes in Mexico.I am in Mexico legal. McCain house keeper is probably illegal. The illegals are not only getting the jobs the American will not do but are under cutting the Americans by working cheaper on all jobs. The sool system is over crowded with the illegals children and they are being taught in Spanish when America is a English speaking country.
Who ever win this presidential race really need to do some thing about the 12 to 14 million illegals

McStain is probably worse, because now he is trying to act as though he will handle the illegal situation, when we know where his heart truly is concerning this issue. Every way we turn with any of the deporable candidates, this country will be in dire trouble.

The electoral fact is, McCain is right, Regardless of whether or not it was the right thing for republicans to fight on immigration. Republicans as a party have been pained by Liberal Hispanic media as resist and against them. The result of this is the party has gone to almost no chance of winning.

It’s a horrible situation, buts the proof is in the putting, and it’s only getting worse.

The 2006 election had proven that, and the early Results of the 2008 election are simply following the same. Immigration enforcement is KILLING the Republican Party, and anyone who tries it, what ever the cause.

This isn’t even the first time this relationship has been shown to exist, this is how Republicans lost California back in the 1980’s.

Why is this happening, that’s the question?
Are the illegal finding ways to vote?
Do we not understand the demographics?
Are Republican simply sitting out or going to other parties in protest, causing a loss and opening the flood gates to solidify the Democrat power gain presently?

Given that this is a flow, if we don’t solve this problem, Republicans like McCain, if any at all, will be the only viable candidates that can ever win again!!!

There is no such thing as a traitor in a political party, each individual is free to vote and express his or her own believes, none the less, I agree with you in that I don’t like McCains position anymore than you do, and am quite angered by his as well as ever other individual Democrat and republican alike similar or worse choices on this matter.

At the same time, voting for someone either in absence or in vote who has an even more destructive position on this issue, will not help worse position, won't win this fight.

At this point when there are no good options you got to be concerned about Damage Control.
So that when there is a good option, there is still something left of a country to take that option with.

There is no logic, in a protest that can produce only greater defeat, and reduces chances of victory such as this one.

History both resent and historic has shown us that, I would urge you to vote and support the better of the 2 options at all levels of elections and keep doing that until we have a victories one.

Abandoning the front lines will not cause the enemy’s lines to disappear, merely advance further into us, placing us in an ever weaker position with which to fight back.

MONOPRISE: you're right there are not TRAITORS in political parties, but there are TRAITORS that hold the elected office of SENATOR, CONGRESSMAN, GOVERNOR,ETC. and MCCAIN is a SENATOR who took an oath of office to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States. Therefore he can be classified as a TRAITOR along with all the
representitives that value, defend and encourage ILLEGAL ALIENS at the expence of American citizens!!!!

McCain has hurt the GOP by acting like a Democrat. The Republicans in name only have demoralized the GOP supporters.
