that is so strange. maybe one of them fell overboard and the other jumped in after them and couldn't get back to the boat

Am very sorry to hear of this tragic mystery. Sorry for all those involved. I have been thinking and wondering ever since the news got out...What could have happened to this assumably well prepared fisherman and fiance in their well kept boat. I don't think Piracy is out of the question since it basically includes any crime at sea. The news and facts seem to have stopped coming in. Was there a sign of struggle on the boat? Could the boat have possibly (mathematically) drifted that far without being spotted in that time span? I feel if the boat could have drifted that far and appeared to be washed ashore, not driven onto the beach, that may be grounds for a freak accident like falling overboard(both). Those thressure sharks pull pretty hard... My experiences in these nearshore waters (9miles) are no rogue waves that would take two people far from their boat. I wonder if anyone has reported on the coincidental boat beachings in Del Mar and LaJolla recently...Those boats were likely run by criminals (Pirates till they hit the shore) and if those type of criminals suddenly felt surveilled by specific boat #, an option other than beaching a boat locally could be to take someone else's with force. Sad story either way... Again , I feel for the O'side families involved. I hope the investigation continues and I recommend not expecting much from the Mex authorities or the American Authorities. They don't work well or quickly together. This is a local story and I expect the young people involved with the families would have the best luck getting info themselves. Don't be afraid to go to Mexico and ask questions on behalf of the families (not a U.S task force) You'll likely get quicker and more accurate info regarding the condition of the boat. I am rooting for answers and I wish the families closure, peace, and local support. Why has the news stopped coming in? Condition of boat when found? Key position? gear the boat was found in? Poles and belts all accounted for? Gas left in boat? battery levels? Lights on or off? GPS tracking record of cell phone? Cell phon found? these things and more I hope are being asked
