If we sent the 12 ~ 20 million Mexican illegals in this country back, they could overwhelm the drug cartels and take back their country.

Oh, wait, that would require they fight for something instead of standing in the streets demanding it.

Your comment would indicate you misunderstood the post.

By the way, "petro" is a Venezuelan currency, and/or the name of a chain of truck stops.

You don't consider going to a bar with an on duty police officer to be a problem?

Thank you for giving us ignorant Americanos insight into how things should be south of the border.

Perhaps we just have a little higher standards here in the North.

Good! Someone who is boots one the ground.
I too know a cop (transito) from Juarez. He wants to quit and cower in El Paso and work at a restaurant.
Andreas, I didn't use to be so racist against beaners until all the murders started to happen from the 600 women on. You all have been like scared dogs basically that roll over on their backs and cower, it's pathetic.
Oh yeah sure the US has allot of ugly problems BUT Face it we don't have the murder rate mexico has. Ask yourself why. Two reasons and the main one being we are allowed to arm ourselves, makes the car jacker think twice before hijacking some mother and her kid, because the mother might just be packing a gun. The second is we do a better job of feeding our poor. The poor are on the governments side for the most part because the government gives them housing and food, US citizens can argue if that's good or bad But it is reality.
So let's look at mexico. Organized crime in mexico supplies people with guns no matter where they get them they are still the ones with the supply of weapons AND organized criminals are the ones who can offer the opportunity to the poor to make money to afford shelter and food. Your wealthy elite are to blame for all this, the wealthy elite who brain wash the people while they cower outside of mex Not the gringos. Your wealthy elite have had it good keeping their people brainwashed and oppressed.
You all *talk* of tu general, of Marcos, of La Revolution but That's All YOU do *Talk*.
The first time some mexican mother shoots a criminal protecting her young, her property, the mexican people should make her a hero NOT a criminal!

lol it is because guns are so widespread in the US, that it spills over to Mexico. Where do you think they got guns? most of them are advanced-US made modified weapons, i believe the ATF made a huge money out of it.
I don't believe guns will solve the problem, i think it'll only make the murder rate even bigger, because that means besides the cartels, we also have to worry about robbers, mad people, terrorists, small time gang and bullied high-schoolers.

Things that can solve this problem is for the local government to stop receiving bribes from these gangs, but that is unlikely because if they refused the gangs would kill them and put someone willing to deal with them, see the problem here? of course its their fault for allowing these gangs to get this big in the first place.

We should apply the supply and demand theory in this, its very simple, if there's no demand, the supply will decrease. And you know there's a reason why they're willing to fight for border towns such as Juarez, even though thousands of soldiers and enforcements have been reportedly sent over here. The profit they get from selling the stuff over the border must be quite big.

lol and the 'wealthy elite' happens to be the boss of the cartels over here, they're the wealthy elite, the businessmen, they cower in front of these people

lol that's hilarious "Police say the second man accused of breaking into the home also called 911 to say his friend had been shot"

well no worry because guns are illegal, so the petty burglars won't probably have firearms, so the lady can protect herself with a baseball bat

thanks, but i can get it why they want to leave, my 2 siblings have left for the US, while i'm the only one remaining in here, i just love the city. I just don't feel right going back to the country from which my ancestors ran away.
besides i do have a gun and im a good shooter, we go hunting with my cop neighbor every once a month, so im not afraid of gunmen

Andreas, The solutions for the murders, the lack of safety, the corruption I know can be *Made* complicated.
But 2 quick things from your posts.
1.You seem not to trust your own people with being able to legally arm themselves. Why do you not trust your own people?
2.Your sister, your mother, relative has a baby with her and 2 big guys are threatening to attack her, don't you think her chances of surviving this attack have just increase by 100% if she is armed with a fire arm instead of a stick?

Oh and yes I do know that alot of non-criminal mexican people are already armed, but the bottom line is if the police or the military are not having a good day they can jack you up if they decide they want too. Try caring a gun through one of the many check points throughout mexico/throughout Juarez.

Daily Horoscope for June 4

Aquarius

The emotional atmosphere is quite potent under this Lunar Eclipse, evoking a sense of crisis. The problems you've been experiencing with a certain person lately come to a head during the next fortnight, making you feel that you have to take drastic action or lay down the law. Yet this could make the situation worse than ever, especially if you act from a sense of panic or desperation. Take things gently and don't throw your weight around unless it's absolutely necessary.
