I don't know what their culture is like, as far as their homeland. But I will say, they don't do anything to take care of themselves. They'll come see us for major medical issues, like diabetes, heart attacks, etc. We'll give them usually 3 months of medications, and want them to return for follow up. They MAY come back they may not. The majority of the times, the ones that do return, never picked up their medications. You ask them why, and they say "I don't know". It's general fact, you can not help those that won't help themselves.
