Do you think English should be the medium of education in Malawi? Or Chichewa? Or the tribal vernaculars of each region?
Or, should children be taught in the tribal vernaculars during the youngest years, and transition into English as they get older?
Is English a threat to the existence of the native African languages?
Thanks for cluing me in.
