Dude, according to Wikipedia the respective populations (estimates for) of Turkey and Greece in 2010 were 73.772m and 11.305m. Again according to Wikipedia the respective size of the labour force of Turkey and Greece were 25.3m and 4.972. So the repsective labour force participation rates are 34.29% and 43.98%. It should also be noted that preliminary results for the last census in Greece put its population at considerably lower than the above estimate. This would have the effect of significantly increasing the participation rate. If we are to take your premise seriously, then Turkey's application for EU membership should be rejected on narrow economic criteria alone because the Turks are an even more lazy and idle people than the Greeks who are looking for a free ride at the expense of Europe, including the Greeks. Stick to Genocide and mass murder, its all you Turks are good at. Cheers.
