Operating conditions in Greece’s manufacturing sector deteriorated again in July as output, new orders and employment all continued to fall at steep rates.
Liquidity and credit constraints remained apparent, placing a limit on purchasing activity and leading to a further sharp depletion of stocks. Panellists indicated another steep reduction in new orders received during July. The impact on market demand of the financial crisis and recession in Greece continued to be felt, according to the latest anecdotal evidence. New export orders also continued to fall sharply during the latest survey period. There was ongoing evidence of spare resources in the Greek manufacturing sector, with backlogs and employment both being cut sharply during the month. Staffing levels have now been reduced for fifty-one successive months with 20% of the survey panel indicating a reduction in payroll numbers during July. Lower production and new orders also served to undermine the buying of raw materials and semimanufactured goods. Stocks of purchases were again subsequently run down to a sharp degree. Finally, average lead times for the delivery of inputs continued to lengthen during July. The sharpest deterioration in vendor performance since January reportedly reflected stock shortages. http://inaudit.com/economy/greek-operating-co... |

I ask you a question which required some individual input but instead you post an article with statistical data concerning the operating conditions in Greece’s manufacturing sector - what the hell, I guess you`re on auto-pilot! Whatever ... |

“Macedonian, therefore Greek” Since: Apr 07

After 1944, when Tito, leader of Yugoslavia, renamed Vardarska Banovina region to “Socialist Federative Republic of Macedonia”, a tacit negation of ancient Macedonians’ Greekness indoctrinates all ideology and political life of the Republic. This negation is now openly expressed and defended as historic truth while ancient Macedonians’ Greekness is not objected by any academic historian. Slavic Macedonians, being of Slavic stock and unrelated, at any aspect, to the ancient ones, have to deny ancient Macedonians doubtless Greekness because, otherwise, they would have an identity crisis, given that the Macedonians, that is the Greeks of Macedonia, are still living in Macedonia, the region of Greece, and are proud of their Greek ancestors like Alexander the Great. Slavic Macedonians intentionally “ignore” that only a small part of their country, the southern 20% of it, belongs to Macedonia, the ancient historic famous Greek Kingdom. Slavic Macedonian archaeologists hide carefully Greek (ancient Macedonian) artifacts they fount there.

The European Commission rejected shifting the target, which would imply that eurozone governments or the ECB accept losses on funds provided to Greece.
