Especially for Estonia, Estonia will win very much to give citizenships to humans from Russia.
Jan 11, 2012 | Posted by: roboblogger
An increasing number of Russian citizens have begun to dig up their Estonian roots, acquire an Estonian passport and, along with that, the right to live anywhere in the EU and visa-free travel to the U.S., Estonian Public Broadcasting reports.

Judged: 1 1 Than you don't understand how important these kind of things are to people living in the border. If estonians make it hard for people of russian origin to go there than russians living in border cities will simply choose to go spend their money in Latvia or Lithuania. At this rate Estonia will simply just become an economic colony of Finland because of dependency. |

Judged: 1 1 It is a common finno-ugric wisdom that bears are not humans, they are step-brothers to humans. The other wisdom is to dance on bear's funerals, so that the bear's spirit would not come back to haunt you. |

There is barely any mention of russians or russian in Estonian legislation. You can do your own digging, if you don't believe me. https://www.riigiteataja.ee/otsingu_tulemus.h... I'm sure that you are referring to just that as a sign of "discrimination" - barely any mention of russians. |

I agree that Baltics has little to offer, but russians come and shop here anyway. And it is often because of russians buying anything here, that our local variety of offered goods gets distorted to almost nothing useful. |

Judged: 1 You are right about passports of convenience for people, just like there are flags of convenience for ships. There is a lot of interest in EU countries passports, and some can be obtained at a price if you have the right connection - and at a price. Some Baltic and Romanian passorts have appeared here in UK, held by people who have not much knowledge of these countries and certainly cannot speak the languages of the passport they hold! Romanian passports are apparently 'given' to any Moldovan citizen who goes to Bucharest and claims the nationality. Many Ukrainians use that link to get an EU passport and come in Western Europe. Also, Latvia is also 'generous' in its allocation of passport, and after pocketing some 'administrative fees' Latvian officials will issue a genuine Latvian passport to any Russian who wants one. There are suspicion here in UK, that the 2 other Baltic states do the same. Here the Home Office has checked with these countries and the passports are absolutely genuine and legal. |

Estonians are wonderfully deeply grounded peoples.
They are akin to the blue eyed blonde haired Russians. As is Latvians. |

And obviously, Russians have far less -- as evidenced by the fact that they must go to other countries to shop. |

and that shows ! In healthy economy any new customer is a blessing - look at Finland, they specifically developped infrastructure for Russian customers in Southern Finland even with service in Russian language - and they thrive because of Russian interest in the region - not only tourist visits, but deliberate russian shoping over there as well... |
