Lithuanians in England, thoughts on the English people.

Hi I am a Czech but with some Lithuanian heritage in my family.( My mothers side of family).
I would like to hear some opinons of Lithunians who live or who have lived in England and what they think in general of this country and it's people.
When I left Ostrava for England friends said I would not like it and would not be accepted. After two years i can say the opposite. Everywhere I go I am made to feel welcome and am accepted in the workplace and also in leisure for example in pubs and nightclubs. The cultural diffierence is big but they help me alot. I would be interested in otheres opinions thanks

You haven't been to russia yet! You have NO IDEA how rude people are here! Im saiyng this because i've lived in Russia for 4 years and just recently visited UK for a month and everyone was so polite and helpfull that it literally blew my mind away.

Justina, try not to prejudge the English from a few experiences.
There are a lot of good, kind and tolerant people among the English.
I am but one of them - but all my family are just like me.
And I am not rude, have never been lazy, and I have a very good and sharp brain, and have never been mentally dead. NEVER pre-judge. If you don't like the English, go home!!

the english are the same as every country. alot of good friendly peopel and a few bad eggs who give the country a bad name. ive met some lovely lithuanians in the last few years and some ignorant ones aswell. the whole world works the same

The truth is that most people from countries other than your own, are just as nice and just as generous as you say that your people are! Not all of course, But most. They create lies about other countries in order to keep their population thinking that the place that they live is better than anyplace else.
