What are they supposed to do with their kids?.. Take them together to UK? That would lower their chances to get employed (if they seek it).

Plus, sometimes Lithuanian lifestyle might be even healthier for kids, than that of British. More space, green places, natural food, etc.

you should not have children if you are going to dump them!! and if they do come here to seek employment there is not many jobs for the women to apply for only low payed jobs like cleaning or cafe work which is due to there poor education. then they look for english guy for easy life then they rip them off big time, most of them are they same FACT !!!

50% of Brits don't even have an education, how can you say that the low paying jobs they take is due to the poor or no education of these people?
People take these jobs to improve their quality of life in the future, just because of differences in culture and language, they take these low paying jobs which 50% of the Brits won't touch, much nicer to be on the dole.
These people that take these jobs can be likened to cream, because they will rise through their efforts and the lazy will be like the whey eventually landing up in the pig sty whereas the cream will become butter and be placed at the master's dinner table.
I do detect racial profiling here, the same way that you have tarred a nation due to some of your twisted thinking through one poor experience expect others to tar you and your contry with the same brush. Next time think before saying anthing bad about others, but then again maybe I'm asking too much, as you might fall in the 50% with no education.

I can't take you seriously, Terry! I mean, is it really appropriate for someone from a developed country that has such an imperialist and exploitative history judge others of a country that is struggling so badly financially that it is contemplating asking the IMF for a loan? Greedy, insufferable man! Also, did you know that there is no official law protecting women's rights in Lithuania? That's right! No official rights protecting women! No suffrage movement in Lithuania my friend! The violence against domestic women is ridiculous in that country (see BBC for more details). Not in all cases, of course, but it is very likely that many children are conceived by force and that the woman is afraid to report incident out of fear of inciting retaliation. Or, some men simply decide that it is not his responsibility to take care of his child and leaves (why are the fathers not taking responsibility)? And before you get all high and mighty on yourself, I'd be curious to see the numbers of men in UK who abandon their offspring. The difference is that women have resources to reduce the burden of being a single parent in UK, they do not in Lithuania at this time (though it is in the works). So, now... you tell me what a woman is to do? Stay at home with her child with no hope of obtaining employment or try for a better life in a country that has more than enough to go around? Greed and ignorance... bad combination!

I hope these statistics put things in perspective for you:

Yes I agree with you 100 percent, I was once besotted by one of these girls from Lithuania, she lived with me for several months, she would get drunk, stay out at night, she was arrested several times because of her behaviour. She told me lie after lie, she was unfaithful , she emotionally black mailed me because she knew how much I loved her , and she knew she could get away with it time after time. All my mates tried to warn me but I did not listen to them, it was only when she broke my heart for the last time that I realized my mates were right, and they was only trying to protect me, and to stop me from being hurt time after time.

well i am lithuanian and i am nothing like that at all... its been a while since i moved here in the uk and i love living here and i do not want to leave this country for a long time but although i can say that not all lithuanians are bitchy and seeking just for the money and there is so many britain girls who are getting drunk every weekend and passing out in the clubs and streets and i am actually a litl bit terrified of their living styles as some of them are drinking so much and not being intrested in education at all, personally i would never go out with someone just for money, because i respect myself and i dont need someone elses money as i can find a well paid job by using my brains and skills that i got, and actually you all should admit that everyone is differnt and if u met just bithcy lithaunians thats not true that we all are like that as my all m8s from LT are smart and not goldiggers at all and before judging others you should release that there are loads of brits who are fulling around with their lives as well as there is some lithuanians who maybe should start thinking before acting :)

The more i read in this forum, the more I realise that my best friend's husband is a complete idiot! He has a well paid job, and likes to look the part - she obviousy saw his fast car and expensive clothes, and decided she would have some of that..... now he has left his wife of 20+ years and two young children (who are all devestated)to be with her.
Arn't there enough single British men to rip off???

“Mr Dillinger”, asked the very brave radio journalist “Why do you rob banks...?”“Because”, Dillinger replied “that is where the money is.”

Oh, I see... so that makes it ok to break up families then, does it? Just because that's where the money is? Would you like to come and see what that money-grabbing bitch has done to my best friend and her children? She was the model wife, who has kept her looks and figure and she is heartbroken, and their kids feel betrayed and bewildered by what their Father has done.
So, "Veritas", if you think that's a perfectly fine way to live your life, then you have the morals of a gutter rat.

You misunderstood. You asked: "Arn't there enough single British men to rip off???"

I simply explained why a gold-digger would target an older man with a "well paid job" and "a fast car and expensive clothes" versus single men, most of whom have not yet established themselves financially.

I certainly did not condone such behavior. No one should break up a family like that.

In that case, Veritas, I apologise for misunderstanding your post. There are those in this forum, it seems, who feel this sort of behaviour IS a good way to conduct their lives, and I have mistaken you for one of those.
Apologies again.

whoa, did we forget about the British chavs? The same ones that have 8 children, live of the benefits and raise children that most likely will end up in jail at some point in their life?

Children aren't dumped in Lithuania by people coming here. People come here to do the job that is not good enough for the British and send money HOME, for their KIDS, so they have FOOD to put in their mouth and buy more than one pair of jeans per year.

Obviously one shouldn't raise their kids while back visiting "for holidays", but I see it as a parent sacrifice where there's nothing else that can be done and working in a different country is a better solution than putting imaginary food in your kids mouth and living in a tent under the bridge?

I agree with Lithuanian 100%.There are so many "role models" in this forum who haven't got a clue what does it mean not to have money to make the simplest Christmas meal for your kids, I am not talking about presents..These lithuanian women don't sit on their bums all day and don't wait the benefits to be presented on the silver tray like most english chavs do.They come here to work, pay tax, don't steal a penny from UK and somebody still has cheek to complain?

LOL, let me tell you one thing about British girls and teens. They have a 90proc tendency to get pregnant at the age of 14, and they keep getting pregnant even at 12. By the time they are 15 years old they are already sipping beer in one of those pubs, and leaving their children to whom???? NOT THEIR MOMMIES TO TAKE CARE OF AT THIS AGE? SO WHAT HAS LITHUANIA DONE TO YA? WHEN ITS EVEN WORST DOWN HERE> AND IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH AN ECONOMY. YOU SHARE YOUR ECONOMY WITH NEGROES HERE, ITS MORE THEN CHEAP.

Daily Horoscope for June 4

Gemini

It's a red letter day for relationships under the Lunar Eclipse in your house of significant others, because you're facing some important and far-reaching changes to some of them. The pressure has been building since the Gemini Solar Eclipse on May 20. f you've known for some time that things aren't working out, you're about to reach a crisis point as becomes obvious that the present situation can't continue much longer. The coming New Moon in Gemini on June 19 will see progress of one kind or another, though this unusual eclipse cycle will have a far-reaching effect. You may have to be cruel to be kind, or more forceful than you would like, in order to get your point across, but do you really have any viable alternative?
