What are they supposed to do with their kids?.. Take them together to UK? That would lower their chances to get employed (if they seek it).
Plus, sometimes Lithuanian lifestyle might be even healthier for kids, than that of British. More space, green places, natural food, etc. |

you should not have children if you are going to dump them!! and if they do come here to seek employment there is not many jobs for the women to apply for only low payed jobs like cleaning or cafe work which is due to there poor education. then they look for english guy for easy life then they rip them off big time, most of them are they same FACT !!!

1 People take these jobs to improve their quality of life in the future, just because of differences in culture and language, they take these low paying jobs which 50% of the Brits won't touch, much nicer to be on the dole. These people that take these jobs can be likened to cream, because they will rise through their efforts and the lazy will be like the whey eventually landing up in the pig sty whereas the cream will become butter and be placed at the master's dinner table. I do detect racial profiling here, the same way that you have tarred a nation due to some of your twisted thinking through one poor experience expect others to tar you and your contry with the same brush. Next time think before saying anthing bad about others, but then again maybe I'm asking too much, as you might fall in the 50% with no education. |

Opportunists are everywhere in this world. Many are raised by parents to be that way.

I can't take you seriously, Terry! I mean, is it really appropriate for someone from a developed country that has such an imperialist and exploitative history judge others of a country that is struggling so badly financially that it is contemplating asking the IMF for a loan? Greedy, insufferable man! Also, did you know that there is no official law protecting women's rights in Lithuania? That's right! No official rights protecting women! No suffrage movement in Lithuania my friend! The violence against domestic women is ridiculous in that country (see BBC for more details). Not in all cases, of course, but it is very likely that many children are conceived by force and that the woman is afraid to report incident out of fear of inciting retaliation. Or, some men simply decide that it is not his responsibility to take care of his child and leaves (why are the fathers not taking responsibility)? And before you get all high and mighty on yourself, I'd be curious to see the numbers of men in UK who abandon their offspring. The difference is that women have resources to reduce the burden of being a single parent in UK, they do not in Lithuania at this time (though it is in the works). So, now... you tell me what a woman is to do? Stay at home with her child with no hope of obtaining employment or try for a better life in a country that has more than enough to go around? Greed and ignorance... bad combination! I hope these statistics put things in perspective for you: 2009 Human Development Report Lithuania HDI: 0.870 UK HDI: 0.947 Human Income and Poverty Probability at birth of not surviving to age 60 (% of cohort), 2005-2010 Lithuania: 20.0% UK: 7.8% GDP per capita (PPP US$), year of highest value, 1980-2007 Lithuania:$17,575 UK:$35,130 Female estimated earned income (PPP US$), 2007 Lithuania:$14,633 (USD) UK:$28,421 (USD) Male estimated earned income (PPP US$), 2007 Lithuania:$20,944 (USD) UK:$42,133 (USD) Gender empowerment measure (GEM) value, 2006 Lithuania: 0.628 UK: 0.790 |

Yes I agree with you 100 percent, I was once besotted by one of these girls from Lithuania, she lived with me for several months, she would get drunk, stay out at night, she was arrested several times because of her behaviour. She told me lie after lie, she was unfaithful , she emotionally black mailed me because she knew how much I loved her , and she knew she could get away with it time after time. All my mates tried to warn me but I did not listen to them, it was only when she broke my heart for the last time that I realized my mates were right, and they was only trying to protect me, and to stop me from being hurt time after time.
