Nazi units glorified in Latvian capital

I do not agree with the policies of Hitler or Stalin in their brutality and murder. However, Stalin was not interested in murdering off everyone, while Hitler had the Grandiose plan of murdereing off all 9 million Jews, millions of Gypsies and some 130-150 million slavs to make room for his beloved (not pure aryan) Germans which makes it a true genocide.

So why is it that Hitler and the 27 million deaths in the Soviet Union in WWII don't mean anything to the rest of the world but we are to wear sackcloth and ashes and hate forever the victims of Stalin, who sent millions of Russians and Ukrainians to the Gulag, and they don't matter because the tens thousands in Eastern Europe are the only ones who really count.

Maybe because so many were busy supporting a true genocider like HItler and fought with him, like, the Hungarians, and the ITALIANS WITH LOTS OF THE Baltics, the Chetniks in Bosnia and the western Ukrainians. So it seems it might explain why Hitler gets credit for less killing than Stalin.

But when all is said and done, unless you only go by the records which survived Germans efforts to destroy them, when the true count of the non-stop murder of the Germans including Wehrmacht would be mind boggling. Those 27 million people didn't die of bombs and fighting in the war but many millions of them were murdered.

Any holocaust counting of the bodies gives the figures based on German records, but then admits that no one will ever really know how many were actually killed at Auschwitz or the other death and concentration camps, and labor camps. And just because the nazis didn't count those bodies doesn't mean they didnt' exist.

People in East. Europe were mostly conscripsts. Those who joined wanted revenge for the rape, pillaging, murdering, torture, deportations that came first from the NKVD and Reds. If you know the history of WW2 it isn't hard to understand.

Well it isn't necessary for me to count the Soviet ones as you and your cohorts are so busy counting them for me. I disagree that Stalin had the higher count, so I bring out the other side. And you are wrong, just because the Germans didn't count the slavic bodies they murdered in their official count does't mean they didn't murder them, as in issuing only 100,000 numbers to the Russians in Auschwitz and then reusing those numbers, hundred or thousands of times over. Even in Wikipedia, it states that the Nazis had some 15,000 labor camps all over Eastern Europe in which they exterminated the workers and those weren't counted as the Germans were more interested in counting the Jews as there were only 9 million of them and they were to be exterminated first.

When the actual counting is said and done who knows who the winner will be. And this argument is ridiculous because it doesn't matter who has the bigger count. Stalin in 33 years or Hitler in 4 or 5 years. Both numbers are humongously high, despicable, frightening and disgusting. Must you harp on this angle?
