BEfore I will watch any "Soviet Story" I would first like to see a "NAZi story and their Collaborators", focussing on the brutality of forcing Russian prisoners of War into barbed wire enclosures with nothing but barbed wire, no facilities and no food and starving them to death, or forcing them on hundreds of miles of forced marches to their death camps, or show the brutality of mudering Jews, Gyspies and slavs by the tens of thousands each day.
And there's a movie you might like to see "Edee EE Smotri" Come and See and watch the Wehrmacht heroes rape and torture villagers in Russia and then herding them into the largest structure in town and setting in on fire with the people alive. And they killed everyone in hundreds of villages in Russia. Inspite of all of this the Soviets managed to win that war and rid the country of the Nazis.
The Soviet Story should be seen in tandom with the Nazi Story for a well-rounded and complete account of the Suffering of the people of Eastern Europe and the Soviet Union. Don't you think? What else can I say.
