Malaysian govt' claimed that some Indonesia's cultural elements and things like batik, angklung, the barongan (in Indonesia, it called Reog Ponorogo), etc. are now properties of Malaysia's culture because they're very attractive and so popular in there? Why most of Malaysians did not know about this?(From what I've heard, my friend had chatted with his Malaysian friend, however he didn't know this phenomenon...)

By the way, how did you order the Contesting Malayness? I need the book for my cultural references...
