Hehehe! Ya, hat-in-hand begging the Asians not to cash in their treasury notes and the like that would sink B.O.'s Presidency and this once fine Country.

The Chinese press is poised to give President Obama hospitable treatment when he arrives Sunday for his first visit to China. As the Chinese headlines have put it this week: Obama is the first U.S. President to visit China during his first year in office, and, though the U.S. and China are still battling over various trade issues,“economic ties between the two countries are too strong to leave any room for a trade war,” as the China Youth Daily put it.
President Obama’s public schedule includes trips to the Forbidden City and the Great Wall. But imagine what kind of message it would send to the rest of the world if Obama and President Hu Jintao were photographed, instead, in a field of wind turbines? Or at a factory producing batteries that could someday power cars on both sides of the Pacific? The world will be watching this visit for signs of leadership. http://www.newyorker.com/online/blogs/evanosn... |

The Nov. 15 meeting in Singapore is only scheduled to last 90 minutes. But in that hour and a half, U.S. President Barack Obama will do much to erase years of perceived American slights felt by 10 Asian nations. For the first time ever, an American President will meet in one room with every leader of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), a regional grouping that began in 1967 largely as a U.S.-supported bulwark against communism.
That's a position the U.S. used to occupy. Ever since its foray in Indochina four decades ago — not to mention its earlier occupation of the Philippines, where it maintained military bases for decades — the U.S. has garnered suspicion for its muscular interventions in the region. Having China take up the role of regional heavy might feel like a relief. But increasing irrelevance isn't an enviable position, either. In his 90 minutes, Obama will have a lot of explaining to do — no matter how pleased ASEAN's leaders will be to meet him. http://www.time.com/time/world/article/0,8599... |

Which is worse, Obama bowing to the Japanese Emperor or former President George H. W. Bush Sr barfing into the lap of the then Japanese Prime Minister?

I am not against OBAMA nor a fan of any American presidents.
I know there are some who had spent their life to change the system but failed. Obama is not an exception. As long as this system which had started from the birth of USA prevails there will be no end to seek friends and foes. |

John that is a differnt subject.
But believe me please that OBAMA is struggling his level best to expose the banal consume-oriented globe. pity but true. He need not travel all around the globe to put forth his message. A simple Chat forum is enough. |

Man, who the h-- are you and what are you smoking/drinking? I'd like a case of each, please, for when it gets boring around here. |

ROFL ... More of Obama's childish lies and misdirection. N Korea poses no real threat to the USA or the world ... with the small exception of exporting nuclear material or bombs to Islamic terrorists. With our spy technology we can stop such shipments. The only one who can help is China ... who still supplies N Korea, for fear of N Korean refugees flooding into China.
S Korea and Japan should be dealing with N Korea ... not america. Bush was 100% correct to ignore Kim Jong Il. You can't negotiate with someone who shows a complete disregard for any agreements he makes. |

Well said, tcc43! |

Good question. It seems like he apologizes to our enemies as often as he should to his precious full-blooded wife for his bedroom inadequacies. |
