Having worked in the Prothonatary's office, for many years I will remember Judge Cassimatis as a fair and honest man. I never realized the Ramona had that personal connection, although the judges seemed to have lunch there often. My sympathy to the family.

The world seemed brighter when talking with Mike Cassimatis. His sincerity, his optimism, his enthusiasm were contagious. York County is a far better place for his having lived and practiced law there.

A brilliant, learned man who could have easily been a college professor. That he loved people and the law came through all the time. He will be missed.

I am grateful to have begun my legal career as Judge Cassimatis's law clerk. There could be no finer example than he. He was always prepared, he worked diligently and he cared greatly. He was the model of judicial temperament. He treated eveyone in his courtroom with respect, even those whose conduct should have cost them that respect. York County was truly blessed by his time on the Bench.

Mike's death leaves an unfillable void in the fabric of York County. He was the epitome of a gentleman, and had a broad mind and tremendous compassion. generous, well-spoken, and even, his demeanor was unique, and his deeds have touched the lives of untold thousands.
Judge Cassimatis displayed the very best elements of the Human Condition, and if we were to honor him by attempting to emmulate even a fragment of his Essence, the world will be a far, far better place. Condolences to the family.

This man is what a Judge should be.,
I went through children and youth services.

This man got to know me. He talked to me. I was a nobody. He was a somebody. He was a great influence in my life. He changed my life. He was very personal. He cared about you.

Mr. Cassimatis, Judge Cassimatis, whatever you wish to call him, was a very, very good person.

Thank you Judge.

My wife went through 'child services'.
She always spoke badly about them.
The one bright point she always mentions is about Cassimatis. She said that the reason they always got along along him him is because they had the same birthday.

That was all it took. She built a life off of the simple fact... he engaged.... he was good and she needed a model...THAT IS COOL.

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Taurus

Keep calm! Your emotions are becoming increasingly heightened and intense today. As a result, you're likely to take things much more seriously than usual. That's wonderful if you're involved in a hot and heavy encounter with Mr or Ms Right, but it won't be such good news if you go overboard about silly trifles. If you're doing some last-minute shopping you'll want to be as extravagant as your budget allows. Or is it a case of Budget...? What budget?
