I believe America has to stop pussyfooting around in the Afganistan war. If the Taliban are using Northern Pakistan for rest,training,and re-fitting then we should go after them there.

Well, I would say that extremism is when a group's beliefs are exploited more for Geopolitical needs. Someone mentioned the IRA in another post...that really had very little to do with religion...it had everything to do with Ireland/England and their respective geopolitics. Christian fundamentalists in the US use Christianity to justify abortion clinic bombings the targeting of abortion providers. These acts are hardly religious (and no, niether are they geopolitical) but they are emotionally idealogical in nature. Islam and Judaism existed together for centuries. What is happening now has nothing to do with Islam and Judiasm...though it is portrayed as such. It has everything to do with a (relatively) small group of hopeless (mainly men) who are vulnerable to the calls of radical extremists. Remember, when the Zionist movement started to invade Palestine, the Orthodox Jews who had a family history in Palestine did not want them either. No Reza...(any relation to the Shah...always wanted to ask)Jordan is not illegal as regards the 4th Geneva Convention on Human Rights. Jordan is not an occupier. Jordan is not expantionist. Jordan does not have 69 UN Security Council Resolutions directed specificaly at it (as Israel does). Jordan may have Human Rights Violations and limits on personal freedoms...but illegal...no, Israel only holds that award.
