This story is messed up and sad. There was a language barrier and the lifeguard didn't believe what he was told and refused to act. Then the paparazzi was there and the father, angry at this insensitivity during his time of loss, struck one of them with something. So he gets fined for hitting a member of the paparazzi, but nothing happens to the lifeguard for failing to take a distress report seriously and hesitating.

This is horrible, just horrible.
I heard before of kids accidentally getting thier insides sucked out but never getting sucked up entirely. Too sad and how aweful for the Mom to see that on the news. Pictures of her boy. Oh, I ache for this family and the men who did not believe too.

This story is so tragic I was saddened by the cool way the lifeguard acted when told of this child missing and didn't respond . Hope the family can recover from such a senseless tragedy.
