Please someone do something this about this, it is disgusting to treat such a lovely kind person like Norman like this. He had a terrible start to life, please don't let the ending be just as bad.

Couldn't agree more Paul - what a wonderful man Norman is and what a terrible thing is happening to him. What can we all do? Norman is rich enough to be able to afford nursing care at home and if he is only in the early stages of Alzheimers he will be fully aware that he has been put away. Shame on you Norman's family - don't think for one minute this will be forgotten he is so well loved by most of the British public.

I saw Norman about a year ago at the George Hotel in Cheltenham & he was his old self as ever.He has brought so much pleasure to people in his lifetime & he would hate to be away from the home he knows & loves.
If he needed care then he could have care at his home easily.I f he has been told not to drive then why sell his beloved cars so fast why not keep them in storage for display at a time when he is no longer with us for his fans to enjoy.
Shame on you Vultures watching & waiting...but your time will come & you will reap what you sow!

I feel so sad to hear about this bad news, Please if there is anything we could do to change this, like form a big march to save Sir Norman...
I cant say i like the idea of his family seeling alot of his own things to keep up his care, sure it must be less money if he stayed at home, and his out of work daughter could be a daughter and care for him... I just dont understand, I would look after him.

This little fella has given so many people so much laughs over the years, not to mention all the charity work he has done, why is it that his family are so useless in his hour of need, I bet they will be there when the darling little fella meets his maker to see what they get, I just hope that he has given his money to the charities he has supported and to the bikers.

Many thanks Norman for all the laughs you have given me. xx

It’s all too easy to criticise the children for ‘dumping’ an elderly relative in a residential care home, the reality, as was shown on a hugely sympathetic documentary last night on the BBC, can be quite different.

I was saddened by the documentary which I have only seen today, while Nick Wisdom came across as caring and his wife Kim also, it concerns me the time-line of when "The Power of Attorney" was applied for by Kim as it was reported at the time and how events were portrayed in the documentary.

For me the documentary had an agenda after the bad press and up-cry last year.

It is easy to critcize, in this case the family, but when being the son and daughter of Sir Norman Wisdom causes them so much upset and importance, so many of us with it and give no thought. Also when a dog and lame excuses come First!- I think it says a lot itself.

All that is important for me is SIR NORMAN, how Happy and Healthy he is.
