Thank you Ms. Valcourt for your service and your dedication to the freedom of the United States. I am glad that you have made it home safe and sound, your parents must be very proud of you.

Welcome home Ms. Valcourt. You can be justifiably proud of your sacrifices. Just as those of us who sacrificed before you are equally proud to call you one of our own.

Thank you so much Ms Valcourt for your service to our country. You are a wonderful role model to others. We are proud of you and happy you are now home.

These are the stories i know our soldiers want to hear about. not the constant barraging. I have been in the Army three years and have been there and done that. I love to see that yes one she is my sister and two she is is US army soldier FINALLY getting recognized! Please put more stories in the Local Paper of soldiers making a difference because i know of at least 20 locals who are doing just that! Thank you everyone for supporting my sister and for supporting my brothers and sisters and arms and with the comments like the ones above we will fight harder and stronger than ever!

"To see these little kids come in wounded, it was very sad," Valcourt says. "It made me feel like us (Americans) being there, and the work we're doing really matters."
If only this ignorant piece of filth had a brain, she would realize that the illegal U.S. occupation was responsible for the dead, injured and destruction of the country. Luckily, she functions as just another duped murdering grunt under the ridiculous impression that Iraq, despite never causing the U.S. any threat and not possessing WMDs, welcomed the scum of earth as liberators. How sick can she get? |

Two quotes got my attention:
"I never thought I'd end up in Iraq," she says. "I believed in the cause, but my main reason for enlisting was to earn more money for college." Never volunteer for the military unless your willing to get killed. Plain and simple, if you volunteer for war you shouldn't be surprised when you end up dead or wounded. Secondly, volunteering a priori for the military without knowing who you will be fighting and why seems absolutely stupid. Knowing the facts now, who in there right mind would volunteer to serve in Iraq? Is it really worth selling your soul to the military just for a college education? I think not. "To see these little kids come in wounded, it was very sad," Valcourt says. "It made me feel like us (Americans) being there, and the work we're doing really matters." What you doing really does matter. Of course not in a good sense. The reason those Iraqi kids are wounded in the first place is because of the unnecessary invasion and occupation of Iraq. The work you volunteered for supports their misery and the deaths of 100s of thousands of innocent Iraqis. I'm sure most Iraqis curse the day George and friends "shocked and awed" them. Now we hear the neo-con sabers rattling for war with Iran. Who would of thought that one day the United States of America would be responsible for initiating pre-emptive wars in three countries. The last country that did that was Nazi Germany (Poland, France, Russia). My fellow Americans are in for a rude awakening |

Ms Valcourt,
Welcome home! |
Hey Publius, You're a real fukhed. I think you're the one in for a rude awakening. You're an insulting little troll who has no balls whatsoever. Their are women who have volunteered for service that have bigger stones than you. Do me, and the rest of us that support the United States Military 100% and take a walk into your local VFW and expound some of that crap you're selling. You don't have the guts. With people like you claiming to be American, who needs Iranians. azz-hole |
|
Thank you for your service. God Bless. |

Hey Marat, you should watch what you say, your silly insignificant existence could be next. No filth over here on this side of the pond. Just 100% pure American warriors. So, why don't you go back to whatever s*h*i*t*h*o*l*e country you emigrated from and crawl back into your spiderhole like the coward that you are. |
|

We can make it easier to ignore idiots who make comments like Marat did. If there are no responses to their rantings they do go away.

I suppose you think dropping 500 lb bombs on villages of women and children takes lots of stones http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2002/jul/02/a... Of course I don't need to walk into a VFW to know that the Iraq war is immoral just ask these guys http://ivaw.org/ Oh and the rude awakening you and I are in for http://www.usatoday.com/news/washington/2005-... |
|
I would make it 1000lb bombs Your too much of a COWARD to walk into a VFW I do want to thank you though, I just made a $200 contribution to John McCains campaign and joined the NRA all within the last 20 minutes! GOD BLESS THE UNITED STATES MILITARY |
|
1) Give up the terroists and we won't bomb you 2) There are only 1200 members on the ivaw website, and you would get your a*s*s kicked 3) the rude awakening you cited is from 2005, old news grow a pair |

1. That "ignorant piece of filth with no brain" has gone to iraq for 15 months and still had the ability to get a Degree. 2. Thats a human being who reads these stories and i would guarantee you that you would thank her for her service if you met her because she is one of the most driven and respectful people you would ever meet. 3. To say that MY SISTER is stupid or no brained is rediculous coming from someone so immature as to write this comment. The girl had no intentions on going there and killing anyone. she was there to save people if you read. She felt bad for those coming to base injured getting help from US MEDICS. Please stop leaving comments like that one above until 1. You have met the person 2. You know something about whats really going on there. Because obviously you have no been there and you have not seen the little kids walking into the post choking on there own backed up throats because their family was gassed or they ran over and IED on the side of the road. The things you dont see on the television. Please grow up and show some respect. SPC GARETT P. VALCOURT |

Hi Garrett,
You just don't get it do you? Your sister lacks the morality of the lowest street prostitute. She sold her services for the destruction of a country and its people who never did her any harm. To decent folk, she stinks like a dog turd. She is part of an illegal occupying force and whether she personally murders people is irrelevant. There were no IEDs in Iraq before the invasion. Little kids could walk about in absolute safety. Their parents, whether Shia or Sunni shared the same streets and inter-married. The Kurds, who wanted separation were protected by the no-fly zone. The evil created by such vile scum as your sister will last for years after the troops have run home squealing like pigs, as from Vietnam. I don't expect you to agree, but it would have been better if she'd been strangled at birth. Nobody with a brain would show respect to such a disgusting piece of filth. Try growing up and facing reality! |

Yeah, Iraq was all love and peace before WE showed, never anyone being gassed or killed for saying or believing the wrong thing. You will be on your knees praying for "disgusting pieces of filth" to save your sorry pathetic a*s*s when the time comes. You make us sick. How often do WE have to go clean up the messes left behind? How often are we EXPECTED to give millions upon billions of dollars for the genocide, infanticide that occurs worldwide. a Go infect some other board with your disease. And to the Valcourt family, thank you a million times for your service. Your country appreciates what you and all of our servicemen and women do. |

Marat,
1. Your wrong before we arrived in Iraq Saddam was mustard gassing his own people. So your wrong. 2. you obviously have the maturity of a 12 year old boy with the language competency of one to boot. 3. The Sunni and shia havent ever lived together in peace so again your facts are off. 4. You need to learn a thing called respect because if you are from the Uk then you would know that your people are over there also i know because i have been there with them. Its called nationalism. And guess what Americans will always have that. 5. US protects not only itself but the world including your dear UK so dont make me bring up how we have protected your darling country...I can tell you from experience because i have personally been there to save your red berets... 6. Time to face reality and get out of that world where everyone else is wrong. YOur country was their with us when we invaded so turn that finger you angrily point back your way. And FYI im a criminal Justice Major and in the United States Army...What have you done in your life that makes you proud? Cause i can honestly tell you that nothing makes me more proud then saying that i have fought for my family, city, and country. All of those including my sister. And i will stick up for my country, the world and even ignorant "HUMAN beings" such as yourself. FYI SIR, I have some soldiers over here at Fort Campbell who would love to hear your opinion face to face man to man. SPC GARETT P VALCOURT To the rest of you on here whom have supported not only the Army but the US and my sister THANK YOU! My family and myself appreciate your thanks and prayers. |

1 The point is, the invasion of Iraq was unnecessary, immoral, and unjust. To support it and actively participate in it is an acknowledgment that one agrees with the policy.(however there is always time for redemption http://ivaw.org/ ) An analogy would be: If you drive a murderer to and from the crime scene you are just as culpable as the murderer in the eyes of the law. I can see why Mr. Valcourt would take issue with one pointing out the immorality of his actions. Does Mr. Valcourt ever wonder why he is half way around the world killing innocent people? If they really wanted the help of U.S. troops why would the resists so fiercly? Mr. Valcourt has been duped, I just hope he doesn't have to pay the ultimate price for his mistake. |
