need 3rd party wrote: <quoted text> You may want to read Carter's bio. The prime topped out at 21.5% because of him. Reagan fixed Carter's mess and lets not forget Iran. I was in the Navy under both what where you doing? The only thing Reagan fixed was the election, by bribing the Iranians to hold our hostages long enough to defeat Carter. I was 12 when this happened, and even then I knew that it was a staggering coincidence that they were released immediately after the inauguration. Amazing that the Scooter Libby of the time, Ollie North, stymied the Iran/Contra probe, and was pardoned by a Bush, isn't it? And, Einstein, did it never occur to you that Carter, in his mission of world peace, might have represented a threat to the military/industrial complex, and the International corporate bankers who fund them, who just so happen to be the power that controls the Federal Reserve? Perhaps your 21.5% prime rate, as dictated by the PRIVATELY OWNED Federal Reserve banks, was even more pressure on the American middle class to vote against their own interests. I thank you for your service to our Nation, but I surely wish you would have taken advantage of the educational opportunities offered before Reagan stripped funding from the G.I. Bill of Rights. Again I ask you, why do we need a third party, when the GOP seems to be perfectly aligned with your expressed views?

But it seem your head is to far up a liberals behind to read it. To rewrite history is the liberals way. Iran/North had nothing to do with the 56 under Carter. But hell you can always fall back on def. and big bus. right. I guess you have too seeing how the Dixiecrats give us the welfare voting block, but no lets not bring that up.

Well if Ollie North had nothing to do with destroying evidence implicating the Reagan camp's dealings with the Iranians, why was he convicted of doing just that? I certainly did not invent that story.
Secondly, I am not a blind supporter of the dems. I simply realize that the Reagan administration, and EVERY one that came after (including Clinton) has been quietly steering this country away from the principles of individual freedom and equal opportunity, towards a course that will inevitably lead to a corporate fascist controlled police state. In fact, I maintain the strong conviction that BOTH parties are corrupted by the same money. I also tend to believe that we need a third party for that very reason.
I tend to focus my anger against the Republicans because it is their open support of big business and the destruction of the middle class has a direct impact on my own life. Under Reagan, the city I grew up in lost 200,000 blue-collar middle class jobs, the impact of which literally destroyed my neighborhood. The dems, since they are influenced by the very same corporate money, are at best a distraction.
So, in principle, we agree very much that a third option is needed. It is my hope that we can effectively communicate to reach a consensus as to why and how this party should operate.

It is my hope that we can effectively communicate to reach a consensus as to why and how this party should operate. 1)A video of Oliver North during the Iran-Contra deals during the Reagan administration. In this particular clip. There was Olie in front of God and Country getting the third degree. But what he said was stunning, as he was being drilled by some senator, who asked him; 'Did you not recently spend close to $60,000 for a home security system?' Oliver replied,'Yes I did sir.' The senator continued, trying to get a laugh out of the audience,'Isn't this just a little excessive?' 'No sir,' continued Oliver. 'No. And why not?' 'Because the life of my family and I were threatened.' 'Threatened? By who.' 'By a terrorist, sir.' 'Terrorist? What terrorist could possibly scare you that much?' 'His name is Abu Nidal.' At this point the senator tried to repeat the name, but couldn't pronounce it, which most people back then probably couldn't. A couple of people laughed at the attempt. Then the senator continued.'Why are you so afraid of this man?' 'Because sir, he is the most evil person alive that I know of.' 'And what do you recommend we do about him?' 'If it were me I would recommend an assassin team be formed to eliminate him and his men from the face of the earth.' The senator disagreed with this approach and that was all they showed of the clip." It was not a senator that is a lie. North never was in prison and on July 20, 1990, with the help of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU),[7] North's convictions were vacated, after the appeals court found that witnesses in his trial might have been impermissibly affected by his immunized congressional testimony. Reagan never did know about what North was up too, you know how that works.

Its all the taxes and welfare state that will kill it. Lets stop all welfare but the ones who need it. No welfare to women having babes because they can. None for the drug users. And none to any business: farms no, energy no, and med care no. Flat tax of 15%, no state tax, no city tax, and no co. tax. You pay no tax on the 1st 20k. So if you make 21K you pay 15%, if you make 210K you pay 15%, or if you make $21,000,000 you pay 15% and so on. Companies pay 40% on all net income no write offs.

A party that was the balls to tell a country that we will mirror their trade. If you pull our car apart on dock that we ship to you and pass cost on to the buyer, we will do the same to your stuff. And so on. A party that will let us drill, build refineries, build solar, build hydro, build nuclear, build high speed rail, and not use a lot of tax money to do it. A party that lets our armed forces do their job and come to hell home. You came here a kill 3K we go there and kill 30K. You came here bomb a city block we go there a wipeout a city. And if they do not like it fine go buy your food some where besides the USA. And if you want to bring down the cost of oil. Rise the cost of our food to the ones selling the oil and make it hard for them to grow their own. And if Iran tries any bull with the world's oil wipe them out.

This is a point that I must argue. Big business, after running roughshod over the American working class in the teens and twenties, and causing the Republican Great Depression, was finally stripped of power by FDR and his largely socialist programs. It was Roosevelt's support of organized Labor, and his commandeering of domestic industry for the war effort, that created the strongest middle class in human history. It was Truman's signing of the G.I. Bill of Rights that enabled a generation of working class veterans access to higher education, thereby helping to establish us as the world's superpower. It was Eisenhower who quietly presided over this generation and launched the golden age of America, making us the envy of the world. It was Kennedy's desire to dissolve the Federal Reserve and the CIA, and return both our currency and our military to a more transparent and pubically accountable administrative protocol that got him killed. That being said, I wholeheartedly agree with you about the welfare mamas. I feel that after conservatism, the unchecked breeding of ignorant fatherless children is the greatest threat to humanity going. I might disagree with you a bit about the addicts, however. Not that I think they should ride for free, but that education, decriminalization and treatment have proven to be far more effective means of dealing with those problems than the puritanical stance taken by many Americans. We are not so far apart as our initial conflict might have indicated.

There has not been a military action executed by the US since WWII that has served the American public interest. Every single American battle since has been to serve the interests of the M/I complex, and the international bankers who finance them. With the exception of the much maligned Carter, every man to hold the office of president since Kennedy's public execution has been a wholly-owned tool of those same elite interests. The Oil companies are the single greatest impedance to the evolution of energy resources, NOT the environmentalists. They do not want to lose the monopoly. As the conservative corporate fascists have infiltrated and corrupted the Democratic party, as well as owning the Republicans outright, the Oil companies have infiltrated and corrupted the environmentalist movement, and have nullified it in much the same way. And ALL of this can be traced back to 1913, when the Rockefellers, Rothschilds, Morgans and Carnegies colluded and forced passage of the Federal Reserve Act and the illegally ratified 16th Amendment, taxing earnings generated through Labor. The former, transferred control of our currency to a PRIVATE CORPORATION; The latter, was instituted to finance the interest costs generated by the former, thus creating a never-ending cycle of debt which will inevitably end in the enslavement of the American people. THIS is an area of discussion that all but the most informed and concerned Americans completely ignore, preferring to concentrate on the wedge issues.

The Rothschilds wow most folks did not know who they are. Good posts all of them a lot to think about and look into. The Rothschilds now their history is a wild one.

One thing I 'understood' was that you have to 'protest' and not only watch TV and do what 'government' tells you to do. USA is different because it's a 'democratic' country, but one thing that makes me 'mad' is when Obama talks about "change",that kind of change my friend you can achieve only by "Revolution"!!!
