Sorry to hear that your op-ed column about Iraq was rejected by The New York Times less than a week after the paper printed an op-ed by Barack Obama on the same topic.

It is very evident that Peter Funt has many of his pieces rejected. I have rerad every one printed in the Herald. He is long-winded and without many valid points. Why is he being published? This is a serious boor-fest from a person with obvious conservative biases.

May I make a suggestion to you, Peter? Write just for your friends. Then they can remove you from their contacts and allow your missive to harmlessly fall into junk mail. A win-win for everyone.

McCain i s fooling us. He does not want to win; he cares less about this country at this time. He knows that if there was no Obama but a Mickey Mouse went out for president and had a wonderful smile and was 45 years young, he would win. America loves and craves for youth, persona, charisma. Experience, well does it come with looks, charisma, charm, if not, it doesn't mean a damn thing.l This is America, youth, beauty, handsomeness. Experience, intelligence, who gives a damn.
