I'm thinking that his following is down to about 20% of what it used to be, due to imprisonment, death, desertion, and disinterest.

He recently called a truce when his serious losses reached 50%. He is running out of ammo and people, and needed time to lick his wounds (again).

Lots of people want to protest, so he may be able to make quite a showing, but he won't be in the procession.

Someone should tell this guy to chill out, tell him some jokes or something, or get him some (well, you know).

He always has this fake serious look on his face.

we arent there to rip off their oil.

we are there to liberate Iraq, even though we were attacked by terrorist, and we went into Afghanistan to fight against the Taliban, liberating Iraq so that the rest of the middle eastern world will follow suit is why we are there.

Thats what I was told by our government and they wouldnt lie!!!!!

What Sadr needs is a Hell Fire missle right up his a*s. We want to stablize the country so we can bring our boys home. This jerk is making it impossible.

al Sadr is a power hungry airhead! It's just his way of political posturing to show the Iraqi government how much they should fear his influence. If he got his way (or what he wants people to believe) the U.S. would pull out and then all the money we pure in there would stop too. That would hurt the Iraqis, but al Sadr doesn't really care about that. He wants the present Iraqi government to fold under pressure from regular Iraqis so he can be king. The only way the present government would fold is if the U.S. stops the money flow and troops leave. Most of those who have been there on behalf of the U.N know that this would critically hurt the children of Iraq. Schools are being built and jobs are being created, but al Sadr wants to create problems so he can rule.

Heres why. Iraq is a Trojan Horse. W knows there is a large number of folks that want to do us harm. In the Eighties, they did it by hijacking passenger ships (Achille Lauro and the Murder of Leo Klinghoffer) and Planes (the murder of Robert Stetham) Singling out Americans and killing them. The new millenium saw them come here. W knew that they would keep coming. We needed a central location for them to go, where they could be taken care of without putting Americans (In America) in harms way. Now W could have chosen Afghanistan for the major battles, but as the Soviets found out, thats pretty rough country to fight in. So he decided on Iraq. And it worked! Islamo Facists came by the the thousands to live out their own Jihad. And by the Thousands, we helped them in their Quest for Paradise.

Sure, we're trying to get Iraq to be a Democratic nation, But I don't think thats a real priority. If they can pull it off, great, but they probably won't continue on with that Ideology for too long after we've done all we can do over there in eliminating those that live to harm us.

Now If a High School Grad, blue collar, non college educated guy like me can figure this out, how is it that all you college educated libs can't? Just goes to show ya that an edu-macation don't mean your smart....
