Why Persian when you are Iranian?

I don't say I'm from the Northwest Territories or The New World. I ask this question with all seriousness. My brother in law married a girl whose parents are from Iran and she calls herself Persian. Didn't Persia go away centuries ago? She said she was ashamed to say Iranian, I assume you are too? Just curious!

What exactly did WE do to to Iraq? Do you recall Bush asking Saddam to let the UN weapons inspectors to take a look around? His dumb ass wouldn't comply and was given several chances to do so. Diplomacy was attempted many times, he tried to call our bluff and look what happened.

As far as Iran goes, it is unfortunate that Ammadumblilshit chooses to put his own people in harms way. The majority of NATIONS, not just the US has told him to give up his nuclear ambitions.
