The USA and its allies are already set for war with Iran, we need to controlled Iran like we did with Iraq for the security of Israel.Iran is a top oil and gas producer, the West need that and Israel can use some of that too.

Unfortunately if the West does go into Iran, a nuclear war will surely be the result, and Israel will probably be one of the first victims.

Nonsense. If the USA goes into Iran neither Moskva nor Beijing really cares. Being a much larger and more heavily populated nation than either Iraq or Afghanistan however Iran would be more akin to Vietnam or Korea. No cakewalk like against Saddam. Also Iran's allies like Hezbollah would be unleashed.

In truth Pakistan's very real nukes are much more of a threat to the west than any potential Iranian ones. Even though Pakistan's ISI put the Taliban into power in Afghanistan and later hid Osama Bin Laden from the Americans we somehow consider that government friendly. Why the weird obsession with Tehran? When it comes to supporting terrorists from Afghanistan to Cashmere...

If anybody is going to target Iran then they should perhaps start with Israel. Perhaps then their anti nuclear stance might have some credibility. However, for the US to ignore the fact that Israel has nukes even to the point of illegally aiding them with technology is hypocritical beyond belief.

Russia already said that an attack on Iran would be like an attack on Moscow, and China needs that Iranian oil! They will stop any Western incursion against Iran in its tracks.

Iraq 143.1 billion barrels

Russia didn't do any thing when the allies invaded Iraq. They won't do any thing this time either.
