HAMAS is the elected body of the palestinians in Gaza, from the moment it was elected Israel decided to punish the people of Gaza for backing the wrong horse, it is Israel that is arrogant with out reason and the aggressor in this, and frankly trash is what Israels' propaganda dishes out on the daily bases, get out of the occupied land and then ask for the sympathy of the world.

'Punishing' people for launching rocket attacks against them?

Maybe you should leave Oz, kam, and stop occupying the aborigines land. Or you can just keep throwing stones from your wonderful glass house.

mahmoud abbas is the elected president of the palestinian people, there were no separate elections for gaza and the west bank.
why is it israels to be blamed for an inner palestinian strugle for power. only when hamas took over gaza by force murdering fatah memebers and throwing them of roof tops israel started to take steps against gaza. why don't you have critism of fatah for not accepting the results?
israel couldn't care less who ever is in charge of the palestinian people as long as they mind their own business but when a terrorist organization vowed to destroy israel and is actively trying to do so by murdering our civilians i think israel has a fair reason not to support this regime.

Your excuse for Israels barbarity is pathetic, when Israel tried to strangle Gaza by blockading it, it declared war on the palestinian people, it was against international law, so even there it was Israel that was the aggressor, It is Israel that is Anti Semite as it is the Arabs that are the true semite.

israeli army left gaza, there was no blockade and no occupation there and yet rocket attacks only became more intense.
so the blockade didn't really change anything or wasn't any declartion of war hamas has tryed to murders israelis before and during the blockade.

if the people in gaza want a terrorist organization to be their legitimate governing body, then they take the consequences. clearly, they are not interested in peace with israel.

As pointed out previously, and correctly, Hamas is the democratically elected represented of the Palestinians in Gaza, defeating the PLO. There are still the remnants of an internal political struggle in Gaza, but Hamas won the election because it has helped address needs of the people for basic necessities such as food, water, medical supplies, etc. When the Palestinians elected Hamas, the United States — which claims to love democracy so much — would not recognize the people's choice. Israel reacted with a blockade and a crushing military offensive. The solution, beyond calling for the obvious cessation of military action on the part of all sides, is:
1. A return by Israel to pre-1967 borders
2. Creation of a nationstate called Palestine, which one can find on pre-1948 maps
3. Return of all political prisoners on both sides
4. A new round of negotiations, based on these principles.

Israel is the Jewish state. To stand with those who stand against Israel's existence is to stand against the Jewish people.

i think i heard this before: "Germany is the Master Race state. To stand with those who stand against Germany's existence is to stand against the German people."

this letter is just as extreme as valenti's and just as extreme as hamas. i imagine herman rabid with his support of israel. im sure he thinks 10,000 civilian lives was worth the 2 rescued soldiers, or that apartheid works and is how we're supposed to live, or that extremist religions should always be chosen as the elected leadership...

face it the entire middle east is screwed up and has been screwed up since 1948.

there was no sanctions on gaza? theres no occupation? did you forget about the serious sanctions israel recieved international condemnation for? what about the settlements that israel has received condemnation on and have been told numerous times to dismantle?

oh how about the constant harassment of innocent people just because they arent jewish, or perhaps the extremist religious laws in place in israel? or how about the fact that they killed 10,000 people for 2 soldiers... or perhaps how about the idea that they are the only middle eastern state who has openly called for genocide AND they control the nukes to help them do it (which were developed without UN arms inspections simply because they refuse, we bombed the hell out of iraq for that reason)

the list goes on and on, israel deserves all that it gets for all that its done. besides they cite religious reasons for israel being "their" country despite in their own book their own god tells them they are NEVER to have a homeland and are to wander the world as the tribes of israel. for the "chosen people of god" they sure dont listen very good.

so for hamas not to recognize the israeli goverment is just fine but israel and america have to accept them?
some how you managed to sum up events and leave out the fact that israel civillian towns were being bombarded daily with rockets and mortars.
there is no point of negotiations as long as hamas are in power.
you can see hear them saying when ever they talk that they will never stop untill all of the land from the river to the sea is freed what is there to talk about?
i wonder how would people feel if america were sending money and supply to the taliban and el qaeda while their sons and daughters in uniform were being attacked by them.

i really don't know where to start but clearly you really need to research a bit before we can talk...
from the time israel left gaza until hamas took over gaza, there were no blockade and yet rockets continued thats what i wrote.
israel took all the settelments out of of the gaza strip and cleared all the jewish people from there.
10,000 killed? really...?
i really can't start responding to everything else you write its all just too insane would be just as trying to answer why does UN soldiers go to people homes at night to pee in their pools...

Don't negotiate, hey don;t give back the land, keep it all smarties, but i have one question for you what are you going to do about the 4 million people who live there who hate you for what you have done to them, what is your solution, ethnic cleansing? is that were you are heading? Then do it, expose yourselves for what you are, kill and terror the population until they leave and if they don't then just kick them out because you are not offering any solution to the problem you have created, in if you choke on it well thats what you wanted to do.

Why the U.S. ever got involved in this little pit of hell defies explanation. It has gone on longer than 'nam.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Capricorn

You feel like overindulging yourself in some way today, and why not? Throw caution to the wind and eat your way through a big bar of chocolate, or have a retail therapy session that leaves you reeling from the amount of money you've spent. There's a definite chance you could get carried away and tell a whopper of a story that has little resemblance to what really happened. What on earth has got into you?
