Let's see; the problem seems to be between Israel and Iran with the U.S. siding with it's 'ally' against a threat to peace. However, on closer examination; Iran has never invaded and settled the land of a neighboring country, Israel has. Iran doesn't have a secret nuclear weapons program with over 200 high-yield explosive warheads, Israel does. Iran is a signatory to the Non-proliferation agreement, Israel isn't. Iran doesn't have over 22 UN council resolutions condemning it's international behavior, Israel does. Who's the real threat to peace?! So long as our government continues to support the liability that is Israel and support the despotic regimes of the Middle East that protect Israel and fights wars that benefit no one but Israel, we are also, by the actions of our government, a threat to world peace. In this age of global information, American citizens can no longer feign ingorance and must hold themselves accountable for what their government is doing in that part of the world in their names. Otherwise the consequences will be a disaster and Israel IS NOT WORHT IT!

Iran never started the war.
And how many wars did Israel and US started? US should issue a warning to it's own stupidity and aggression.

At least I'm not the only one has this opinion. I believe that in order to have peace in the middle east Iran should not pursue a nuclear weapon and Israel should be forced to dismantle every nuclear warhead in their posession with the same secrunity that we put on Iraq. I believe that if they refuse the United Nations should put sanctions against them and the country that gave them the nuclear weapons, the United States.

Iran holds no democratic elections, Israel does. Iran has no rights for women nor g@ys, Israel does.(The nut job in Tehran denies the existence of g@ys in his country, btw).

Iran has no freedom of religion, Israel does. Iran has no free press, Israel does.

So, if supporting terror states that oppress their people is what you prefer, more power to you.

And btw, Iran has invaded border countries...or did we forget their eight year war with Iraq?

Who really cares what Bush's yes girl really has to say.

Only when breaking with administration policy (and without Rice) have the Americans disarmed a terror state: N Korea. They spoke, discussed and reasoned with them and N Korea is nuke free.

This all is meaningless because at this moment we are in a holding patter and Washington has nothing more than a caretaker government.

When either Obama or McCain (see: 100 years war) take over this nation will be able to get back to the businesses at hand. Until then let Bush get drunk in Japan and Condi call press conferences. Both personages are moot.

Many Americans have no idea about modern Iranian history - a history of betrayal by the U.S. and Britain, invasions by Iraq, and just a general horrid experience with the west in general. It was the U.S. who first proposed we build nuclear plants in Iran and we gave them the technology. I am not ignorant of Iranian problems regarding leadership, but as a nation, the U.S. and it's citizens have definitely not done their homework on Iran.
