thanks to Krudd we can roll out the red carpet for all tamils, afganis and any other 3rd world crap which takes to boats.
All he had to do was tell them to get off the boat in indonesia or the next port would be columbo.
Problem would have been solved in 10 minutes.

They should have taken them straight to Sri Lanka in the first place. This is absolutely pathetic. Time for Australians to call up their local MP and voice their opinions to them. We should round up any other illegals that try to enter Australia, put them on a cargo plane right back to where they came from and scuttle any of their boats. Enough of this pussy footing around with them.

You can look forward to a new owner for your local delicatessen. These people will simply fit into Australian society and you will never hear a peep.

we ought to blackmail them like they have blackmailed us. Get them off the ship with promises of pr in aus and then get the ship to sail away, leaving them stranded in indonesia.

Men, women or children ... it doesn't matter. They are trying to enter Australia illegaly, they were in Indonesia, let them go get off the boat as that was their last departure point. The Indonesians that are happy to take the money from these illegals to transport to here, should take them back home and sponsor them to live there. But no one wants them and rightly so. Send the Oceanic Viking to Sri Lanka and drop them off, with force if need be. Any parent that endangers the life of their family is responsible for that choice, not anyone else.

Pardon me but that sounds a touch draconian. What normally would happen is they would be processed and if they deemed legitimate refugees granted asylum. This would appear to be the solution that has been offered.

Taking women and small children in unseaworthy boats and trying to cross oceans to land illegally in another country is more than mildly pathetic....

considering that tamils are an ethnicity rather than nationality, these statistics would not be reliable. Most would be labelled indian, or sri lankan etc. I wouldn't know the difference to look at them, would you?

Daily Horoscope for December 26

Aries

In recent weeks you've been quite concerned about a loved one, and things are likely to come to a head as Mercury turns in your mid-heaven. You may be able to solve the problem simply, which will be a relief all round, but there's a chance that you may have to do some serious thinking or get some expert advice before you know exactly what your next step should be. You may have to take official action of some kind.
