Hey Ralph, what you stated in your words is happen everywhere. That's every nation problem, not only Indonesia. Even when I was in US, as I've travelled to many places on earth, I found the same shit happened. Duh, if you're well educated enough, you'll be able to think out of the box.. hehe.
So, let's be objectives! Who doesn't know Bali? the beaches, the culture, the native people, all is great! and Lombok island, Komodo island, Wakatobi, etc.. then do you hear the new heaven in West Papua called Raja Ampat??? Soooo gorgeous! That's why numbers of western people coming to Indonesia is still high. We don't offer them a well developed city such as New York, Tokyo or even Singapore.. or new high tech airport such as Chicago O'Hare or Swarnabhumi. But what we can offer is the beauty of the nature. How people here or coming here(still) will be able to see clean blue beaches, white sands, protected jungles with its habitats, dive into a deep see to find lot of new species.. In a short word, though this country is having itself problems, we still have beautiful natures that can attract tourists' interest. So, maybe don't visit Indonesia itu hanya berlaku to your people aja kali. Cape deeeeeeeh... |

love indonesia. yes i agree with your point. tourist dont want to see modern city instead they want to see nature and culture. indonesia has got that or even malaysia got that too. my point is malaysia and indonesia have many similarities in terms of culture and nature.so when we borrow rasa sayang song from you to promote malaysia we are also indirectly promoting indonesia.isnt it better we cross selling each other rather than bickering whos more better . i will definately visit bali one day . never bene there. and why dont you visit pulau redang or pulau perhentian on the east coast of malaysia. see it for yourself the white soft pure beaches we have there.we need each other right?

Demi negara. pak anwar ibrahim dulu (1998) ada cakap dia ada berkotak2 bukti mengatakan pak mahathir rasuah . tapi sehingga sekarang mana pergi kotak2 buktinya. kami rakyat malaysia memang sudah lama tunggu sehingga sekarang ngga ada.adakah pak anwar bercakap benar atau bohong.kami jugak ingin tahu dengan segera. kalau betul ada buktikan sekarang. ini lah masanya kerana pak mahathir lagi hidup. jangan sampai pak mahathir sudah mati baru mau heboh keluarkan. itu sudah tidak adil namanya kerana pak mahathir tidak dapat menjawap segala tohmahan beliau itu.beginilah saya juga penyokong kuat pak anwar dahulu. tetapi sekarang dikit demi dikit sudah luntur kerana dia tak ada apa2 yang mau kami bangga bangga kan. hanya pidato saja pandai menaikkan darah orang ramai tapi habuk pun tarak.kami udah meluat tu dengan beliau.saya sekarang penyokong partai pembangkang tapi masih tetap juga sayang malaysia sepert kamu sayang indonesia kamu.

That's what I want or also other Indonesians want actually. Kenapa kita harus saling menghujat dan merendahkan satu sama lain? One that I hate most here is the topic ur people posted: "Don't visit Indonesia??" Oooww.. Last June my sister visited malaysia for a vacation. She got a good friend in KL that she liked to visit. But do u know? ur immigration did something bad to her just because she brought a little money in her pocket (little money in the pocket doesn't mean someone doesn't have much money, right?). Then ur immigration started yelling to her, accusing her for coming to malaysia for work. Oh god, my sister is working for UNICEF, and she's coming there for vacation. She could show all her legal id, passport, return ticket, atms.. but it meant nothing for ur immigration. She spent almost 5 hours in the airport only for this security screening matter.. how come??? One thing I don't understand from malaysia people, why they're so mean to us?? Ur immigration, ur police, ur people.. when they see indonesians there in ur country, they will start being so suspicious. Is all indonesian bad?? I travelled to almost all continents in this world, I stayed in few countries before now staying in jakarta.. but really, I feel afraid to come to malaysia. I don't need bad experience. Maybe one day when everything is right between our countries, I'd like to go there.. |

untuk Ralph.. memang kami tidak bisa banyak omong untuk hal seperti itu, biar kan waktu yang akan berjalan, bila demokrasimu lebih cepat terjadi mungkin bisa sebelum Pak Mahatir meninggal tetapi jika sebaliknya, maka saya tidak akan tahu, karena umur ditangan tuhan.. buktikan saja jika kau memang cinta Malaysiamu, sama seperti saya ketika mahasiswa dulu..

I can honestly say that every time I visited Indonesia, I feel very good. I feel, in Jkta,as elsewhere in Indonesia, I am at peace. No hastle, no problem.
As one would say, " INDONESIA NO PROBLEM MAN!!!" Just waiting to have my many Kelapa Muda, Sour Sap, Sapidilla, Sugar cane, Guava,Sugar apple,fried plantain, organic meat, fresh fish,etc.etc..in Dec/07 when I return. |

Yes u rigth Love Indonesia, when i come to malaysia immigration was bad attitude, just want to say..... indonesia have people PERANAKAN they was good here but they not like malaysian PERANAKAN they don't hv good attitude.....
I mean for keling/tambi they not local people but they r harm just like PASUKAN RELA.... i don't see local people there but i see peranakan india....why coz Mahathir india ???? last time i go malaysia for tourism but they r not polite to indonesia when i give my pasport..... hey u make advertising everywhere but ur attitude r badly than other countries..... SO WHY I SHOULD shooping there if i can shoping in my country or singapore or thailand? anyway they producks from my country ...... Who build the building there (malaysia).... u know indonesia people that u hire them ..... u people mostly r lazy......I don't see local people in malaysia want to work so dirty or hard.... N u know what ? much from malaysia young actor now go to INDONESIA n work here ???? why???? they said in malaysia as actor there they were MISKIN..... so stop to say my country or others r bad !!. Love Indonesia, i fully agree with you. I have bad experience too when I went to KL by train from Singapore. Just make sure the immigration officer stamp your passport with visit pass otherwise once you're flying back to your home country they'll think you're illegal and put you behind the bar. This happened to me once but luckily I could enter singapore again without long-tiring debate. When I told about my xperience to my M'sian friend she told me that this kind of case happened a lot coz the officer actually does it in purpose and ask for money. So the 2nd time I went to JB I gave em a hard time and always make sure they give me visit pass. |
