here's the scenario of malaysia's biggeststreet protest to date.

protesters gathered at around 10 am, demonststion reached its peak around noon, by 5.00 pm they dispersed, by 6.00 the streets is virtually empty. save for the city's cleaning crew (mostly bangladeshi), security personnel, cameramen, and curious onlookers who missed the action earlier.

quite tame by the 'international standard'.

in indonesia reformasi, or arab springs it lasted for months! its simply just not enough deep seated anger, misery and frustration to sustain a 'bersih rally' longer than it did.

propaganda based on lies and twisted facts can only go so far...

even occupy wall street was far more exciting.
