Full story: Slovak Spectator

Anyone who has been affected by measures by an EU-member state that restrict the right to free movement within the European Union can turn to the courts in the country that adopted the measures, but the European Commission has no right to deal with this, a spokesman for the EU Commissioner for Justice, Freedom and Security, Jacques Barrot, said on ...

Here you go pesky,

I think this case shows the way of working of the EU.
No conflict with anyone, everything is out of scope for me. Maybe Mr. Parkinson knew something, when he made his laws at the time.

Anyway I did not liked two thing in this case: the way how Mr. Solyom went there, and the way how he was not allowed in.

surveyed in eastern bloc showed between 53% and 68% of Slovaks, Poles and Czechs believed life after 20 years had improved, 65% of magayrs thought things were no better or worse...
how come you magayrs are so negative ?
as for lacsi bacsi not being allowed in, it was correct decision, he has no business to enter slovakia without permission to do so, especially to uncover some magayr saint that we slovaks do not even want here.

Now, you could speak about your friend Laszlo, and the not entering Slovakia and you start to discuss about someting else. Well. Khmm.

But regarding your question, and now I'm really convinced that you did not live as an adult in the socialist Czechslovakia a single day, am I right? Either because you're young enough, or you're a foreigner.

So one basis of the difference is, that the life quality of the people in 1989 were higher in Hungary than in Czechslovakia, and also the communist system was better in respect of living. So from the higher niveau, it was a bigger falling.

Ok, and Uncle Gustaw was the best leader all over the world...
I think it is better to discuss about Mr. Solyom and the slovak court...

bacsi,

magayrs may have had a bit more freedom, but certainly the standard of living was just about the same !
as for gustav, not much there, but what clown have you magayrs had ?
as for lacsika, the old geezer is out of it !
he even support some azarberjan or whatever.
he´s just another clown that´s travelling around talking rubbish.
that´s why you magayrs have not succeded in EU, perhaps people in EU finally see what a pain in the **** you magayrs are around here.

Apparently you opened a discussion with some of your older colleague, it is positive. Regarding the freedom, there was a definite difference between the countries.
Regarding the armenian president, he wanted to come to us, we support them to join to the EU, and went home, that's it. Anyway there's a signifcant armenian minority in Hungary, I knew that but I don't know the roots.
As regarding the EU, maybe you missed the reports about the 20th anniversaries, because you were still licking the **** of comrade Gustav, when we hungarians started to bring Europe together.

bacsi,
you were still herding donkeys in puszta when i already traveled the world.
so, don´t tell me whether i missed anything.
perhaps, you were too preoccupied selling your magayr goose liver patés around here..?
as of now, i am pleased that we had sent lacsika home, he might be good at dealing with these asiatic nations, after all you magayrs have a lot in common with them !
in what way you magayrs brought EU together ?
what were you selling then that EU wanted ?

Among all the Visegrad Four (V4) countries, Slovakia has most closely approached average EU living standards in recent years,
According to a study called 'Comparison of Life Today and in 1989',
GDP per capita in Slovakia has increased by 20 percentage points in recent years, while in Hungary and Poland it has risen by roughly 10 percent and in the Czech Republic by just over 7 percent.

Kia Motors Slovakia expects that output at its plant in Teplicka nad Vahom (Zilina region) will exceed 150,000 cars in 2009,
just for you to remember bacsi !
simply put, the smartest around, we are !

You were travelling as pesky the smartest all of slovak, or pesky the anti polak, or pesky the limey?

The percentage of the GDP growth started from different basis in 1989, nevertheless I agree that the last year of hungarian economy was very bad, no doubt. You will see how load the present guy will be when we throw them away from everywhere. Anyway today Gyurcsany visited the court as a witness, of their MSZP friend, who misappropriated some money. The show must go on...

Zsolt Nemeth, met his Romanian counterpart Laszlo Borbely, for talks on energy security, the situation of the Hungarian and Romanian minorities in Ukraine as well as Romania's upcoming presidential elections.
what good could come up when magayr meets another magayr ?
i´d say, pretty spicy goulash only.

Pesky,

may I beg for a new donkey picture. You use this picture everywhere. You state that the donkey racing is a national sport here in Hungary, then I could hardly believe, why don't you have more than one picture about it.

Or maybe you can use the slovak one:

pesky,

I think the topix misleaded you a bit. Here apparently the main news about Hungary was the armenian president, but you can imagine, that the local newspapers had different topics.

One among is the swineflu, the situation is not so nice.
Yesterday the main topic was that Mr. Gyurcsany did have to witnessed on a court, because one socialist local leader will be jailed.
There was a change in the frequency concession, and two new station will start soon instead the old famous ones.
There was a case 3 years ago, when a couple romani people lynched a teacher, and the two daugter did have to see their father's death, in Olaszliszka. Today 3 of them got the lifelong jail as the sentence, they well deserved it.

I think these topics are the most important at the time being.

Daily Horoscope for November 27

Libra

If you had a bad day with your partner yesterday, today is the day to kiss and make up. The Moon blends with Neptune to create a romantic passion; this may be a little over the top, but sometimes a bit of drama is in order. Those of you with children may find them acting up, but if you listen closely, you'll find they really just want and need your attention.
