This is an extremely insightful article and should be read by people on both sides of the political argument. There's an expression that S**t Happens, when in fact what they mean is, Change Happens. Instead of continually reacting to the changes, our leaders ought to show leadership by anticipating those changes and being out front. Instead, we are led by many who would rather hide their heads in the sand and talk of times past. Well, in times past the whole world wasn't our competition. In times past people didn't live well into their 80's and 90's. In times past, we didn't have a government trying to be the end all and do all for everything and anything you could think of. We aren't alone in the world, we better learn to compete, and we better learn to expect less of the government not more.

Spinning your column into a promotional house ad belies your claims to informational superiority. If they were true, you wouldn't have to say it, others would. For example, why no coverage on Ralph Nader's explosive press conference on Bonus gate, broadcast live last night on PCN from Harrisburg. It's the biggest state story of the year, and the TN continues to ignore it.

The real story is that the left wing of the single party was attempting to influence anohter parties petitions useing state employees on taxpayer dollars. This brings to light the difficulties of smaller party being shut out by the right and left wing from even running in a state wide election.

Bush and Cheney should be exchanging the Whitehouse for the Jailhouse. Two bigger criminals have not been seen on this planet since Hitler and Stalin.
