There are a lot of steps. I'm not the best person to tell you them all but you need to make sure that your lawyer writes a good waiver. Mine was very long. We detailed all of my suffering and had lots of proofs behind it. For example I stated that I could not live in Honduras due to the crime rate, and then had proof from the CIA's website about how high the crime rates are. You have to back everything up. Also, consider having a second opinion on you waiver once it is written. It is the final and most important part of the process. Our process has taken about two years. The waiting list is going faster now however so it probably won't take that long. Also, you may be able to go through your whole process here in the US since Obama said that he was going to change the policy.

Yeah you should just email them and asks them about it.. you should be able to open up your case again.. its will cost a lot though but worth it.
