Do Haitian men treat their women right? I'm thinking of dating one I know a man is a man no matter what his nationality. Just wondering if they have a decent rating with the women, never dated one before.

First of all you shouldn't ASSUME that I am an American based on a question. Next, GREEN CARD is not an issue he has it and has had one for about 16 years. Then, convenience can be said for both men and women. It's convenient to have a mate period, has nothing to do with nationality. And as for the "here you go again" this must be a personal issue.
Because this is my first question i have ever posted on this forum. And I just recently joined but even if it is an ongoing question. If you don't like it why answer just pass it over. I didn't join to make enemies and if friends are made along the way that's fine too. But EVERYONE is entitled to their opinions and the way they feel. So if they want to ask questions let them.
It's not hurting anyone, is it? And men in general can be deceitful, i merely wanted to know the treatment of a women from a particular race ie... cherish, just use for sex and bare children etc.etc..etc... Thanks!!!

Hatian men are very cool but controlling and will give you the world if they really love you. They can be very romantic, like the ocean and champagne. They love their country and expects for you to love something about their culture. They are great lovers. Some have a tendancy for practicing voodoo so watch that really close. Put your foot down in the beginning because if not you will find yourself being totally conrolled

I have a haitian friend, and for the most part he is cool and very sweet. But, he drinks and sometimes when he does he is a bit more aggressive. I seen him get mad for the first time and really dont know why. He thinks im sleeping with someone else, and tells me he dont trust me when he isnt with me. But, we r just friends and dont know what to make of it. Cuz, he avoids da question when I ask if he wants more or likes me. He shys away.

I just dont know how to take him at tyms. He is very jealous at tyms, then at tyms he sooo I dnt no. we started out keeping us a secret, then recently he decided to tell his friend, or our friends. But, we arent together. Im just tryen to figure him ot, which is hard. I give him his space and let him cum to me. Because I do like him and enjoy the time we spend together. Just dnt know if I should just continue to wait for him to move us forward, or move forward by myself and keep things as they r with us now.

Question: I dated a Haitian man. I would ask him question about our relationship. He would not answer my questions, his reply would be, "it is not polite to ask questions, Haitian men should have some secrets, questions cause trouble". And I am very big on communications. Therefore, this cause trouble in our relationship. He would always want to know about me or where I am going. However, when I would ask him. He would either argue or chance the subject and try to accuse me of trying to cause trouble by just asking a questions.
Please explain Haitian men act this way?

Im haven a simler.problem. But,we.arentin a relationship. Althought it may seem like it at times. We been friends for a little over four months. Im very much confuessed. Cause we started out with it being a sereat, then he made the decision tell others and let it be know we were dealing with each other. Its kind of hard to explain. Like I got used to one way, then.he ups amf changes. He says its surprising me. All I know how to do is keep my guard up. At timesits so hard, but, I know dat I dnt.want to be hurt. Im beganning to care about him. Just not sue if I should let things evole on their own or make the first move]

If he was born in America than hopefully he does great you right but, if be lived in Haiti for half of his life then don't. I'm Haitian and I will tell you this about the haitian men who lived in Haiti: they are very controlling and aggressive. First, they seem very nice and treat you like a princess but, once they tie you down or you are pregnant with there child they have you on lock down. Meaning they will suspect everything of you as in cheating, hiding money etc. They tie the girls down by being in control of her financials, aslong as they have everything under their name they feel as if they can go and wonder while you take care of the kids. This is with the majority of Haitian men who have lived in haiti for more than 5 years.

I have a few friends who dated and even married a haitian guy and they have great marriages!
I think itīs a prejudice to say they are in general cruel or aggressive.
As it always is the case, every human being is an individual and so you need to find out for yourself if he is or is not someone you want to be with. If he already shows sign of abrasiveness, itīs a personal anger issue he has to deal with, but every other man could have the same character flaw!
If it already is a problem, you should be cautious, not because of him as a Haitian but because of the aggressive behavior. What you see noe wonīt be less once you guys are dating!

Behind every stereotype lies a grain of truth. Even outside of a relationship haitian men tend to be dishonest; business or otherwise. Like growing up in the poorest country in the western hemisphere caused them to be in survival mode at the cost of any and everything else. Ive seem them steal, just for the sake of doing so.

I don't know why people pose such absurd questions. What type of men are Haitian men? Really? Character is not relative to race or nationality. I surely hope you are not american for asking such dumb question. If you are, then go ascertain about a man by the name of Dr. Martin Luther King.

And for record, all of you just stated patterns that are prevalent in men that either possess an inferiority complex, or have a lack of fidelity. I'm going to play your relationship therapist, just go get yourself some books on human behavior. I.d.i.o.t.s

Do you know what an individual is perceived as when he/she has all the facts in front of him/her but is incapable of utilizing it to reason, STUPID? Did a Haitian man screw you over and stumped on your ego? Is one presently screwing your mother? You resound as a sorry a$$ with plenty of animosity towards Haitian men. Let us see if you can rationalize. Try to answer this..Why do some american celebraties shoplift? Is your intelligence quotient that much inferior to that of a dullard? I'm not astounded by anything that comes out of the mouths of you americans.
