The Development of Islam in Haiti

Has anyone read this story or heard anymore on this subject? What's your opinion? Is the introduction of Islam a good thing for Haiti or will it bring more tears and sorrow to a people who are already crying for mercy?

forget about this man , even do I have lots of respect for Islam those who know a bit about it know that mohamed himself add black slave and black were consider as animal , also the arabs did participate in the trade of slave with the europen...we became christian b cuzz of the white slave masters & now ya want to join your other enemies...we as BLACK should have our own

Your right! I can not speak for all blacks, but we haitians need to start thinking for ourselves and not let other people guide our development as a people.

Our religion in Haiti is voodoo...I know lots of peeps think evil when the ear about it...u know why ,its because the slave masters did not like the concept of blacks changing the face of their white Jesus & the other saints...So since they coul not understand how our ancestor wewre modifiying christianity they decide that it was an evil thing , created all types of stereotype on it so we can reject it...& u no what it worked....

Islam isn´t bout war and nothing , we are the truth religion... I´ve been to all kind of religion, there are nothing to them, all they´re talking about is join Jesus , jesus can save you--- The Christians themselves think that Jesus is God.... Jesus is not God....

Jesus never called himself son of God as far as i know but he used to call himself the Son of Man )mark 2:10 although he heard himself being called by that name he did not object' as assumed in the Bible-and did not consider the title exclusively for him
According to the Biblical term in the Old and New Testaments, every God-fearing righteous person is called Son of God. In matthew 5:9 we read¨:
Blessed are the peace-makers, for they sall be called the children of God.
In matthews 5:45-that he may be children of your Father which is in heaven...

The problem that i see with all this is that people think that religion can save them. One thing that god always told his children is not to be content with this world. So many questions so many answers who is right? In the Islamic religion muhammed is a prophet but he his somewhat worshipped. Because he is considered the true prophet. Then you have Jesus which is his life was fortold many years before he was born. This information is also in the Jewish bible. The key is not how religous you are who prays more. It's who is rightous all the way. We live in a world who is always dreaming not noticing what is about to happen until it hits to late.

First and foremost, Peace be unto youbrother! Second, I would not go as far as to say that it will bring good things in Haiti. Without a doubt it will add another element to our beautiful Haitian culture which probably should have been added a long time ago. Islam is just another religion bro and I seriously doubt that it's "THE RELIGION OF TRUTH" as you say, for there is no such thing when it comes to religion. Religion is tool that can be used for both good and bad, depending on who's using it. To say Islam is The Religion of Truth is a blatant lie for all Religions have some element of truth to them to a certain extent. But as with many other Religion Islam has it's faults, but that is no reason to say that it shouldn't come to Haiti. It should be introduce given that our country is suppose to be one of democracy, so it should be introduce and let the people choose. Before stating islam wll bring good thing in Haiti, we need to be carefull here I don't want to see haitian start bombming the country or start themselves on fire. By the way we are not that brave. Let stay with the voudou for now.

I am a Christian, but I would hate to be referred to as "inquisitor" or "pedophile priest" follower.

To come out and say that Islam means blowing yourself up and bombing the country is irresponsible. You cannot say things like that.

Why would anyone want to participate in the same devilish religion that has enslaved for centuries them unless they want to return to that same state again. All blacks should be muslim and follow the law of Islam and those who refuse should be considered enemies of the black race.
A clash of civilization which is long overdue is approaching in this continent and the choices will be "Fight or Die".

A lot of people would argue that there were "black" christians before mohamed's time.

Why imposing your will on everybody else?
After they drugged you with that opium called religion now everyone else has to believe in it. Man believe in what you want to believe but don't think that everyone else has to believe in the same think.

Ethiopia, during the time of Solomon was known as Sheba and was ruled by a beautiful queen name Mekede. She visited King Solomon and was taught many things about Jehova whom to many (myself included) manifest or (one with) his self in Christ the Son. She lavished many gifts upon King Solomon and King Solomon did the same, even blessed her with a child (many believe)whom she was told to name Menelik upon birth. There's also the Ethiopian official who'm Philip met and baptized on his way back to Ethiopia after visiting Jerusalem thus taking Christianity to Ethiopia, Africa if you will and that was before Muhamed!

A new religion will do nothing....don't think that just because one is muslim, that racism will be eliminated...muslim societies still have their own stratifications, all human constructs do.

Religion is private, and this could be used for further division to the country, when what you need is unification, education, and ability to communicate with the outside world, you need allies, trade.
