Investigation continues in Worrell murder

Never been a PPP supporter but I have to admit that Guyana has never been this good.Visit twice every year to find rising living standards, advanced computer and communication technologies, more rapidly growing economy and better transportation, etc.,etc.

I can't agree more, Guyana has seen massive developments...overseas based Guyanese and foreigners would agree with me, for our tourism sector has also grown to relatively large amount...

I guess if I can't get Van West or Corbin as President of Guyana then I will settle for Donald as President. He is not a bad guy.

Well what we have to remember is that the PNC nor any of their members or ex-members would ever be given an opportunity to be the president of Guyana...after all we have to learn from our mistakes!!!

In 2008, the economy witnessed a 3% increase in growth amid the global economic crisis and are expected to grow further in 2009...thanks to the agriculture and mining sector Guyana's Economy has bounced back on its two feet...

guyana has never been this bad .what happened in one year didnt happen in a whole lifetime under burnam .so many women beaten /raped/killed.so many people killed on the roads. so many drunk people driving and killing .so many children abused/killed. so many school girls selling flesh/beg to get money to help out their parents .so many amerindian women getting lured to bars/restaurants to get jobs and end up getting raped and becoming prostitutes . so many rumshops opening up.more beggars in GT.more drugs selling and helping the rich to open business .more millionaires----who dont work.more gays .more thiefing by govt workers .more blackouts .the list goes on and on . so stop talking trash you bunch of nincompoops .

The Government can't control ones mind, emotions and actions; what they can do is Govern the country accordingly and the law breakers would face the full penalties coming to them...

Did Burhnam give you electricity, housing, infrastructure, a sound economy and financial viability etc??? I don't think so banna!!!

All we heard were promises that we would get this and we would get that and no actions were taken. When our friends, neighbors and relatives were murdered, gone missing, starving etc who compensated and gave answers for the happenings? NO ONE!!

Don't you think that you are somewhat overexxagerating..about the PPP and jagdeo. I know they have done a lot of improvments but a sound economy-I am not so certain.

Where did the PPP get the money to repay socalled debts left by the PNC? Do you know what you are talking about? I don't think you have any knowledge of state finance to engage within reason.
Most of Guyana's debts were forgiven.

So then why didn't the PNC do the same. If you paid attention to our country's affairs yopu would no that those debts where not just written off. Guyana had to be were it is today so that we had the favor of those countries.
