Dimitar Pop-georgiev-Berovski (1874),
i dont know what your ENCYCLOPAEDIA MACEDONICA say but this is what i found about him in Wikipedia.

Dimitar Popgeorgiev Berovski (born - 1840 in Berovo, Ottoman Empire; died - 1907 in Kyustendil, Kingdom of Bulgaria) was a Bulgarian[1][2] revolutionary from Macedonia. He is considered an ethnic Macedonian by historians from the Republic of Macedonia.

He studied in Odessa where he met Georgi Sava Rakovski and fell under his influence. Later Berovski participated in Bulgarian legion in Belgrade. Then he worked as a Bulgarian teacher in Macedonia. For his anti - Greek Orthodox Church policy Berovski was jailed. Later he emigrated in Istambul and became one of the members of Bulgarian Exarchate.[3] In 1876 Berovski was one of the leaders of Razlovtsi Upspring. Also he participated in the Russo-Turkish War (1877–1878) and was leader of Kresna-Razlog Uprising uprising.
Berovski as Bulgarian officer

Later he was authorized to telegraph to Constituent Bulgarian Parliament versus the signing of the Treaty of Berlin and in maintenance of Unification of Bulgaria and to represent Bulgarians from Macedonia on its sessions.[4] After that he еmigrated in Bulgaria and worked as Bulgarian police officer and district governor[5] in Kyustendil, Tsaribrod and Radomir. Berovski took part in the Bulgarian unification and in the Serbo-Bulgarian War in 1885. Later he supported IMARO. According to a letter he wrote to Slaveykov, in early period of his life Berovski might have been opposed to the Bulgarian Exarchate.[6] Some of his personal belongings are kept in the monastery “St Archangel Michael” which serves as the city museum of Berovo[7].

I think he was A Bulagian served Bulgarian interests

Macedonian Revolutionary Organization (MRO)
Ivan Hadzhinikolov in his memoirs underlines the five basic principles of the MRO's foundation:

1. The revolutionary organization should be established within Macedonia and should act there, so that the Greeks and Serbs couldn't label it as a tool of the Bulgarian government.
2. Its founders should be locals and living in Macedonia.
3. The political motto of the organization should be the autonomy of Macedonia.
4. The organization should be secret and independent, without any links with the governments of the liberated neighborly states, and
5. From the Macedonian emigration in Bulgaria and the Bulgarian society, only moral and material help for the struggle of the Macedonian revolutionaries should be required.

According to Dr. Hristo Tatarchev:

We talked a long time about the goal of this organization and at last we fixed it on autonomy of Macedonia with the priority of the Bulgarian element. We couldn't accept the position for "direct joining to Bulgaria" because we saw that it would meet big difficulties by reason of confrontation of the Great powers and the aspirations of the neighbouring small countries and Turkey. It passed through our thoughts that one autonomous Macedonia could easier unite with Bulgaria subsequently and if the worst comes to the worst, that it could play a role as a unificating link of a federation of Balkan people. The region of Adrianople, as far as I remember, didn't take part in our program, and I think the idea to add it to the autonomous Macedonia came later.

My wild guess did Macedonian Revolutionary Organization (MRO) was created after the failed Treaty of San Stefano?

From what I saw in ENCYCLOPAEDIA MACEDONICA, the article you posted is deaply biased and omitted. It lacks all his revolutionary biography and the facts are changed! For example he was jailed by Bulgars because his Macedonian believes.

In my opinion this is the fist time the (slavic) Macedonian identity was created.
For a revolt against the Ottoman Empire and the identity of the Macedonian was created based of the area where that revolt was taking place trying to unite the subjects of that area against the Ottomans.
the Internal Macedonian Revolutionary Organization (Bulgarian: Въ&#10 90;ре& #1096;на Ма&#10 82;ед& #1086;но- од&#10 88;ин& #1089;ка ре&#10 74;ол& #1102;ци он&#10 85;а ор&#10 75;ан& #1080;за ци&#11 03; Vatreshna Makedono-Odrinska Revolyutsionna Organizatsiya, commonly known in English as IMRO was was a Bulgarian national liberation movement in the Ottoman territories in Europe.

Your claims are false and unsustainable.

And this latest book is another vivid proof of the Macedonian nation continuity through the milleniums:

"Macedonian knot" by Hans Lothar Stepan

Skopje, April 13 (MIA)- Macedonian Academy of Science and Arts (MANU) promoted Wednesday the book "Macedonian Knot", written by the first German Ambassador to Macedonia, Hans Lothar Stepan.

The book is based on documents for Macedonia (not-published so far) in the period from the Berlin Congress (1878) to the World War I (1914), shedding a new light on Macedonia's historic development.
The documents are part of the German Foreign Ministry political archive.

"The book confirms the uniqueness of Macedonian nation. It has five chapters, covering the developments in the Balkans, regrouping of great powers, interests, conflicts, alliances and wars," academician Ivan Kantardziev said at the promotion.

Loser it's your fate.

You mean after the failed treaty of san stefano when the Macedonian Revolutionary Organization (MRO) created and became active. But that was and the reason for the Bulgarians to create and to start (MRO)(a fake independent revolution from independent people)so that the <<great powers will not interfere unification with Bulgaria meant Russian access to the Aegean>>. Before the san stefano is NADA Macedonian Identity don't exist.

Ivan Hadzhinikolov (December 24, 1869, Kukush, Aegean Macedonia - July 9, 1934, Sofia, Bulgaria) was a Macedono-Bulgarian[1][2] revolutionary, leader of the revolutionary movement in Macedonia and Eastern Thrace. He was among the founders of the Bulgarian Macedonian-Adrianople Revolutionary Committees in October 1893 (the organization was renamed to IMARO in 1906 and IMRO in 1920). He is considered ethnic Macedonian in the Republic of Macedonia.

He received elementary and secondary education in in Kukush (Kilkis), Plovdiv and Svishtov. Then Hadzhinikolov graduated higher education at commerce in Linz. After that he worked as a Bulgarian teacher in Kostenets, Voden, Kukush and Solun (Thessaloniki).[3]

Ivan Hadzhinikolov opened a bookstore in Thessaloniki in 1893 after leaving the school. The IMARO was founded in his house in 1893. In 1901 he was arrested and sent into exile in Podrum Kale in Asia Minor. After amnesty in 1903 Hadzhinikolov went to Sofia and was engaged in booktrade and commerce. After a heavy illness with disordered nerves hе commitеd suicide in 1934.

Was he really a "MAcedonian"?
He worked as a Bulgarian teacher
The IMARO was founded in his house in 1893
Went to Sofia and was engaged in book trade and commerce.

He was a Bulgarian serving Bulgarian interests. He was teaching Bulgarian probably on schools of the Bulgarian Exarchate.
MRO was predominantly ethnic Bulgarian since its establishment.
