you cannot force someone to be wise,if they are not born to be,a gentleman doesn't talk like that. And you women believe in yourself.Dont give room to the ignorant person to undermined your ownself.I believe he needs attention, someone wake him up from his slumber.then he can see clear, moreover
beauty on the inside counts more.WAKE-UP

I am a black American. My parents are from Kumasi. They are beautiful and who are you to insult God's creation. It is
immature to speak like that .If you met someone from Kumasi who did not treat you well, why do u critisize our race.I myself say that you are ignorant what you have said is not true and never ever say such a thing. You need to learn how to respect others,I believe that is good manners that is what my mommy taught me and i believe it will help u. CHANGE AND LEARN FROM GOD.IM 10 YEARS OLD AND I MYSELF KNOWS BETTER.

Idiots... all of you... First of All Akans are not Bantu... You need to do some research before you start spewing nonsensical drivel....Bantus are one of the most powerful tribes in Africa and, control most of the Land on the continent...

Secondly, all Ghanaians are one people and, tribal identity is a matter of choice... Why would you gullible people allow someone who calls herself Black American come and divide us??

You guys most likely have an INFERIORITY COMPLEX and, view beauty by the EUROPEAN standard.. Shame on all of you!!!

I am a white American man who absolutely adores African women, light to dark, Ashanti, Ewe, or Fante, ir whatever. I want a young black wife to marry & have babies with, and to give her my whole heart.

I just want to say, please stop this "We're prettier than you guys" talk, it's nonsense and serves no purpose. I am currently involved online with an Ewe girl, 23 years old, much younger than me, who, I quote "prefers older men". I am 56, and I intend to pursue this. This is the most beautiful woman I have ever seen, but I have met others online, Ashanti, Fante, and Ga, who were also beautiful in their own way - I happen to find a narrow waist & a pelvis built like a Mack truck to be irresistible, not to mention a lovely face and a brilliant smile - but I see the beauty in every black woman I have ever met, online or in person, and I am convinced a black girl is the only life-mate for me.

Look, I'm white. Lighter skin is not more beautiful or desirable (and my friend is rather light, but still -), we all have our own beauty, and as much as I am aware of the charms of an Icelandic blonde with big breasts, I have no desire to have babies with one - or a redhead or a brunette, for that matter - I want a black girl, and beautiful, caramel children to issue from our passion, that simple. But that is me.

I feel it is important for all of us, no matter who we are, to see the beauty in ourselves and respect the beauty in each other, whether we see it or not. The reasons I desire a black wife are many and various, from the overpoweringly physical attraction of their buttocks to the reverence I have for the purity of their hearts, but one kind of African woman is not superior to another, we all have different drives and desires, and it is never right to feel better about yourself by making someone else feel humiliated. There is no accounting for taste, and things change: In my great country, as recently as 50 years ago, in some southern states it was against the law for a white person to marry a black one, and this even applied to biracial or mixed-race people - citizens of the United States of America!

Things are different now. We have a biracial President, Barack Obama, and although he is the son of a white woman, he is considered, and considers himself, a black man, and he should.

To Africans, this will seem like it doesn't mean much, that it does not apply, How could I possibly understand how you feel? But I do, because black means something to do with me...the place where my future wife comes from, and where my President's father comes from. It truly is my business, because I can only find true happiness in the arms of a black woman, and because black is he color of my President. We are all human, and there may be a thin line between preference and prejudice, but we are all on this old ball of dust and spit together, same blood, same destiny. And we all came out of Africa.

One day, if I get what I want, my sons & daughters will be black, and see themselves as black, but they will undeniably be my children. I cannot love them more if they were blonde and blue-eyed, in fact, I could not have children like that at all.

We really are all one, so please, stop putting down each other over something as silly and superficial as skin tone!

Please? It serves no helpful purpose.

Jozye,

I see your face in your picture, and I think you look beautiful.

The most amazing woman I ever saw - well, one of them - was from Kumasi; she had the face of Bogie's widow, Lauren Baccall, and the body of a goddess, and I care a lot what you think, that's just me.

Everybody's opinion is important, and if somebody doesn't like yours, speak up, it's your right, and if it isn't it damn well should be.

I for one want to know what you think, period. At worst, we can respecfully agree to disagree, and at best, in Bogart's words from Casablanca, "This could be the beginning of a beautiful friendship..."

Kumasi women are beautiful!

~JOHN

PS: I live in Kansas City, not Denver; I don't know how that happened, but I WISH!

And thanx, Efo!

Daily Horoscope for May 20

Libra

There's a real thirst for adventure as Venus and Mercury zip through lively Gemini, but the burning question is how are you going to satisfy it? Maybe you fancy taking off on a journey, whether it's through a holiday, a day break or a long weekend. Or perhaps you have got to stay put, but you're going to send your brain on its travels instead by increasing your knowledge. Opportunities are never far away, either, so grab them whenever you spot them.
