All former Colonies should be free.

Without any study, we can't just say "All former Colonies should be free."

I live and worked in French Guiana. If they are not stable across all major spectrum of being a state of self-sufficient, it will create choatic for country such as French Guiana. They still rely 100% on "mother france" at this time. They will most likely kill each other or destroy the country like the Haitian destroy Haiti. Any modern territory that wants to be independent, must move slowly and carefully, toward a transition into a self-gerverning state. Most modern territories now will suffer greatly, and made not bounce back, like Haiti. But just want to be "free" for "free" sake, Guyanaise and other such territories, will fight among itself when the "mother land" pull out. There will be civil war because of factions fighting to gain control, they will pull down the little economy that they have. Land will be destroyed, government will be uprooted. Law and order will disappear. Internal civil will break out. Just like Haiti.

not all countries are like Haiti.. I can found out a lot of former colonies that became independent without start killing theirselves
