Seriously, its really sad that the majority of the world is given to superstitions that are the foundation of oppression and self-repression, limiting the human species from improving its lot and enjoying individual lives more fully.

Christ did not come to bring life more abundantly, but to enslave people into his cult. Well... I dont know what Christ intended to do, no one does, but that *is* whats happened. And its really sad.

No true god would have anything to do with religion. A real god would lead us toward the light. Religions lead their followers further into the darkness.

Sorry I don't see much religion being done here. They can call it what they want too, beating and suffocation is not part of any religion that I am aware of. That didn't even take place in the "Exorcist"(great movie)

The Bible did not tell those people to hang that boy on a cross, that was a stupid choice those people made. Atheists just like to twist the facts and point fingers to make their insignificant, pointless and soulless lives seem like the right path.

How about the fun idea in the Old testament advising fathers to kill their sons for lying?

If religion IS real, just think about how rumors mutate and change more everytime they are told. Imagine how distorted these stories would be after a thousand or so years.
