I worked in the Middle East on a rig that was mostly made up of French workers and I was in the minority. The French that I met there were some of the finest people that I have ever met. I have been in France a number of times and Paris is Paris, but the rest of France and the people that I have met is a great memory never to be forgotten. My friends son married a girl from France and they live in Oklahoma. She is a wonderful girl and so are her relatives that come to visit. Go to these countries in Europe ready to be friends and I think that you'll have a great experience.

I think it is a stupid and crude idea to make such a show in Paris. Having faux cowboys (rednecks) represent Americans acting boorish to see how the French respond. I hope the French respond with the dignity I know they possess.

This TV idea sucks bigtime.

I was in Salzburg, Austria years ago, dining at a great restaurant across from Mozart's birthplace. The kind of classy place that brings courses, one at a time, when we noticed people from a tour bus trying to rush the waiters so that they could make time. It was so rude to everyone else. Turns out they are on a 8 countries in 9 days type deal. The worst part was, they were from Michigan, my home state......unfortunatly, there are ugly americans on tour throughout the world, but over the years, i have seen alot of rude brits, auusies, koreans, japanese, and yes, even french....lol...
