Before you make an unfounded statement like the one above, perhaps you should read the article...the plane was owned, operated and maintained by Yemenia Air, an airline company from Yemen; this has nothing to do with France.

Sounds to me that you don't follow the news very closely!!

If you did, you would have known that the operators of this aircraft skipped the routine maintenance according to Airbus and that consequently, it was not allowed to fly on European routes.
Unfortunately, Europe has no jurisdiction over African air routes.

So this one, at least, wasn't French maintained at all.

And what evidence do you have to proof that it crashed because of bad maintanence????? Just couse the French said so. Are the French God or the have special powers which enables them them to predict the future.They should investigate first off all into their Airbus crash first and criticise themselves before accusing others.

The French haven't said with certainty that poor maintenance was the cause of the accident.
They have merely pointed out that this airline was banned from flying on Europe routes because it doesn't observe the maintenance schedule advised by the constructor Airbus.
This could be a contributing factor to the crash.

I find it strange that you try to accuse the French, for something that happen to a Yemeni aircraft!!

Well they started accusing the airline without even waiting for evidence.When they recused the girl they made sure she is back in France as soon as possible so she would not talk. Everything seems very fishy.The black boxes have been found and not a word till now.Things are not as they seem to be.Time will reveal everything.

That was in answer to a post who threw doubt on French maintained aircraft; I didn't accuse anybody, just made a comment.
