How? In violence or peacefully?

Don't you dare to return in violence - you would be wiped from the face of the earth with all the British weapons on the Islands - and it would be the end of the sovereignty dispute (I met a man yesterday who believes the dispute was ended in 1982 but I don't believe that).

Wait - it won't be much longer and a solution will be found.

Looks like you're right, Lizzie.
Mrs Kirchner seems to be playing the same old card again: trouble at home?- let's threaten the Falklands. Diverts the masses, y'know.
Next assault Argentina is stupid enough to start and Patagonia will be removed from them and declared an independent state contingent upon recognition of Falklands' independence.
If they still don't learn, all the rest of Argentina north of the Rio Negro will be parcelled out between Bolivia, Paraguay, Uruguay, Chile, whoever, leaving just Buenos Aires. If they still don't learn, Buenos Aires will be divided up into zones, like Berlin. Even the Germans learnt after that.

Basil: where is the source of this information, please?

Mrs K mentions Antarctica but I have not found anywhere she mentions the Falklands/Malvinas.

You prove my point. Please do not accuse Mrs Kirchner of whipping up anger against the Falklands/Malvinas when she's talking about somewhere else.

It is possible that an agreement could be made about the Sandwich Islands which does not mention the Falklands/Malvinas, or so it seems to me.

Let us keep to truth.

I think you do not understand. Britain will be quite happy to hand over sovereignty in its own way and its own time (not too long, I think).

BUT BUT BUT if Argentina does anything violent before that, it will be the last thing she does. It is not about Britain gathering an empire together - Britain already has the Falklands/Malvinas. But it won't necessarily wish to hold on to them - so the best thing Argentina can do is to remain quiet and to be friends to the people who have every right to live there in peace.

However, I do not think Argentina will learn to keep her mouth firmly shut.

I agree with you, Liz, but the Falklands war started with Argentine occupation of Port Faraday (Corbeta Uruguay) in the Sandwich Islands in 1976. The British just protested and Galtieri went on to occupy Pepys I. and, finally, the Falkland Is. Argentina has even less claim to (and probably even less interest in) the Sandwich Is. than the Falkland Is., so even mentioning claiming the Sandwich Is. doesn't help Argentina's case. Unfortunately, as you say in a later post, I don't think Argentina understands diplomacy.

It's funny seeing Argentinians whine about getting some islands they never had in the first place. Here's a free hint hombres: clean up your country. You've already got more than you can handle without subjecting some islanders who don't want you to your pathetic rule. And yes, if the British need us we will help b*tch slap you back home again should your mouth make promises your military can't keep.

There wasn't even an Argentina back then, silly. So you didn't have a "National Sea Territory" as much as you think you want one. You didn't even have any citizens there. The people who live there don't want you - as a country you are too screwed up. You might fix that first and then worry about islands 100s of miles away.

You should try to read your history books, instead of just looking at the pictures. It would help you to realise just how pathetic your statement sounds.

For your education, please click on the link below to give you a greater understanding about the people that once lived on these islands before any of the land was called England,Scotland, Ireland and Wales.

Hey fool, i just said:

1)I know some Wales and descendants of the Welsh Community in the province of Chubut, who before was colony (Gaiman, Madryn, Trelew, etc). I go towards there often, and they said that, they always say that, not me. According to they say, you do not belong there, and they yes. They always mention the Plaid Cymru. They know recognize ours Malvinas when we talk about it, always.

2)In Cavanagh, Còrdoba, my province, where are many Irish descendants of immigrants, i just know one of the families there, of surname O'Shea, cause meet a professor of English who I visits once in her town, and when I ask to them about that they also say the same and WORSE, too much. NOT ME. They say: "English people do not belong to the British islands, we do, because we descend from our celtic natives".

You're a big FOOL.
