In Germany, Obama urges closer U.S.-Europe ties

In one of the most theatrical events of his campaign, Barack Obama called today for closer ties between Europe and the United States in a speech to more than 200,000 Germans at a towering monument to Prussian ...

Obama is obviously a gifted speaker but is way underqualified to be President. Just because he gives great speeches doesn't mean he will be a great President. Hitler was a tremendous speaker too.

Obama's speech is not a rhetoric mr writer, it is a historic moment that many understand and cherish except a few disgruntled and racist bastards like yourself, Rush Limburgh, Bill O'reily and the other Fox News watching bigots.
God Bless America.

Except the majority of America and Europe did not like Hitler, and he was a dictator. Obama is simply a candidate for president that the majority of America and the vast majority of the world wants as the U.S. President. Sounds like sour grapes because grandpa mccain can't get 200,000 people to come hear him speak. The world hates George Bush so much that they can't wait to see his complete opposite fix what he F'd up for eight years.

Get used to the speeches. That's your next president.

As my name suggests, I am neither a Democrat or a Republican but I am Libertarian leaning. Our federal governnment has grown bigger and bigger with every administration. The national debt is $9,528,393,972,474.71. The estimated population of the United States is 304,416,033 so each citizen's share of this debt is $31,300.57.

The National Debt has continued to increase an average of $1.74 billion per day since September 28, 2007! Concerned? No matter who is in office they will spend like a teenager with their parents credit card. We have built a nanny state where people are losing their freedoms and relying on the government to take care of their every need. We create tons of new agencies and departments that cost taxpayers millions and only make things worse.(Alcohol, tobacco, and firearms should be a name of a convenience store not a governmnment agency!) The best way to destroy society is to have the government run more of it.

Europe is full of Leftists, so of course they adore Hussein Obama. He sang Kumbaya to the crowd without really saying much. He did ask for their help with troops in Afghanistan, but you could hear the crickets chirp at that point. They (Europe) don't want to help in any way militarily. They think that they can ask the Taliban and Islamofascists to please stop bothering us. They think that at Guantanamo, if we just ask politely, they will tell us what we need to know. They think (and so does Hussein Obama) that America is the cause of the strife in the world. The fact is that the Iraq situation is quickly improving because of the surge (which Hussein Obama adamantly denies). Iraq Will become a member of the league of nations. We are going to have to save Erurope's butt again. Hussein Obama's ego knows no bounds (I guess i would have a huge ego if the media threw their underwear at me, like I was a rock star). He makes speeches on foreign territory like he's already been elected. He interferes in wars when he is NOT the commander in chief allowing an opportunity for political leverage by other nations. He is invested in the US NOT reaching it's objective in Iraq (he thinks that we already lost!), otherwise he would be completely wrong. He panders to whatever crowd he is in front of. Lord help us if he wins, but looking at the electoral map, I don't think so.

It dosen't mean he won't either I would prefer a non political politician.Under qualified? Unless you have been president before, you have no experience to be president, IMHO Bush has been president for 7+ years and is still unqualified to be president, with McCain you know what your'e going to get , more of Bush. With Obama who knows ? I like what I hear and its alot more promising than McCain. Obama was greeted warmly by everyone instead of protesters and anarchy . I'll give any non-republican a chance, even a libertarian ! Both the democratic and republican parties will soon self implode with massive weight of their own political B.S. and maybe a new way of thinking will prevail, if these two parties continue as they are, we are in deep doo-doo!

So you are NOT voting for Obama? I would like to see McCain draw a crowd of 200,000 AS president ANYWHERE. A McCain speech consist of a noun , a verb and radical extremist Islamic fascism .BTW if the war is so grand what have we accomplished that is so vital to U.S. interest?

You are mixed up.
McCain is no more a Republican than George Bush.
But Obama is every bit as much a Socialist as Hillary.
50 years ago G.W. and McCain would have been defined as far left liberals.
This country is headed in the WRONG direction!!!

I replaced "e" with an "a" to stand for my anarchy views (my opposition to the state which is out of control)

It's amazing that you don't take my concern over the national debt to be a serious problem. If the U.S. was a business it would be bankrupt by now. Now I know why people from Alabama are not taken serious and have a well deserved reputation for being backwords ignorant hicks.

Europe is a Union the EU, both Obama and McSame are under the Central Banks payroll and on the same mission, to go forward and do their job, close the deal and create the North American Union. You're all being manipulated by the elite, they are just giving you a choice, when people are given a choice they usualy pick one, so in reality, it doesn't matter who wins the nomination, one sure thing is that we all will lose. Inevitable. Say goobye to the U.S. constitution. No one will be able to stop it, anyone that makes an attempt will be considered a terrorist under the Patriot and Victory Act. It's all about globalization.

Conservative I like as well.
Obama = Socialist; Supports even more Government, more entitlement programs and higher taxes on the very people that support 90% of the tax base in this country.
Haven't we regulated enough industry overseas yet?
