Bulgaria vetoes Macedonia's EU accession talks

Over seventy Greek organizations have written to the Commissioner of the EU Enlargement Commissioner Stefan Fule, stating that Skopje is NOT ready to start negotiations for EU membership after using nationalist rhetoric with their neighbors, as published by the newspaper Dnevnik Skopje.

The Greek organizations are using as argument Bulgaria, saying that Skopje spoofing Bulgarian historical heritage.

The authors of the letter, led by Nina Gkatsouli, president of the Association of Greek Macedonians in the U.S. is the Commission's conclusion that Skopje has NOT constructive relations with their neighbors.

According to the Greek organizations exist tensions in relations between Skopje and Sofia, but the Commission was aware that Skopje has forged cultural and historical heritage.

If the Macedonians are in fact Bulgarians, as the Greeks and Bulgarians keep saying, why would Bulgarians veto another Bulgarian state, only to please the Greeks?
Fact is the Bulgarians are not the smartest nation, but not Greek stupid either, aren't they?

133 countries recognize Macedonia and only 13 countries recognize FYR Macedonia.

The reason that west not help Macedonia is the Gruevski.

Nationalist Gruevski want to create nation-country, as we are in 1800 or 1900 years.

But democratic country is neutral and not base on nation. Democratic country base on multiculturalism. Example USA.

The EU will not benefit in any way, shape or form if fyromija joins. Just like now, fyromijans will steal money from the EU to build fugly statues instead of investing in anything non-shitty. If they join they will also have a wider audience for their useless propaganda and will steal even more history as they won't be threatened by VETOs.
