She did many good deeds in her life, may she rest in piece. Very sad.

I agree Kattie, she was a wondeful person...I actually cried when they annouced that she had died.I stayed up and watched the news coverage all night long. Rest in peace Princess. |
|
I got up at 4:00 am to watch the funeral. I cried when Elton John sang. That's one of the moments in my life that I'll always remember. |
|
It's funny how certain things you just can't forget and freeze time. They say most people remember where they were and what they were doing when they heard JFK was shot. I guess it's the same kind of thing in this instance. Same thing with 9/11. Sorry...went a bit off topic there. |

I was up early for her wedding and watched the whole event.
I was also up early to watch her sad funeral. I still get filled up with tears thinking about those poor kids. She was wonderful !!!!! |
|
I was thinking the same thing when I replied. For my parents it's Kennedy and for my generation it's 9/11. Makes me afraid for my kids. What will their tragedy be? |

I don't mean to sound callous but I didn't get involved in the group grieving session. Of course it was a tragedy for someone so young to die in that way, leaving two young sons, but I couldn't understand all those people sobbing and wailing over someone they didn't know.
Had Diana not been physically attractive, do you honestly think she would have been so popular? Interestingly, the death of Mother Teresa which followed shortly after Diana's was pretty much overshadowed by the media frenzy. Who did more for charity, in reality? |

Kehia, I agree with you completely.

So if the United States President died you wouldnt Sob or cry? My god she was royalty it had nothing to do about how pretty she was. Also helped millions of people with Aids and other deadly diseases. I cant believe you think people are crying because she is pretty...... |

She was special. it is hard to beleive it has been 10 yrs. I watched her wedding and her funeral. She made a difference in this world, most of us do not. She could and she did. She was a reminder of the "good" in the world. Now the world is a darker place and is there any hope anymore?
|

Of course I wouldn't! Why on earth would I sob over President Bush??? I don't believe that because someone id royalty that they are a superior human being! Did you cry over Mother teresa, who did way more for charity? Maybe you didn't cry because she was pretty but it seems you cried because she was royal. I don't worship royalty or famous people, sorry! |
|

Actually, I'm not sorry! Mother Teresa tended to the sick and dying, wiped their asses, dressed their festering wounds, day in, day out. And didn't have the wealth, fancy vacations and privalege the royals have. That's way more of a loss in my book. Isn't she worth crying over? Guess not, she's not royal and pretty!

I was very sad when Diana died. Not because she was royalty, but because of the trap that royalty put her in.
As for the person who said "my god she was royalty." So what? she ate and went to the bathroom just like you and me. |
|
it was sad when she died, but it's been 10 years, let her rest already. |

Elvis has been dead for 30, they're still plastering his face on key chains, paper plates, anything that sells as if he was a tourist attraction. Which Graceland is. sick.

It wasn't that she was royalty. It was because Diana was a common woman who never foregot her roots or how to be a kind, caring person who worked to help others in need. Mother Teresa was the same type of person Diana was, Mother Teresa just did not get all the coverage did. I just hope our world has a few more people like Mother Teresa and Diana left in it.

She put herself in the trap. No-one forced her! |

so Kehia, you would probably say the same thing to a battered wife who did not know what sort of monster her man was before she married him.
Women get tricked all the time. Charles did not love Diana, he loved Camila all the time, but Camila was already married, and his mother pressured him into getting a more suitable partner. He put his eyes on Diana and told her he loved her, all the while using her. Diana loved and believed him, so, yeah, she put herself in it. |
|
I cried my eyes out when she died! Every year I sob on the dreadful date, good thing my honey Mr. Italian is around to comfort me! |
|
this freak is pathetic |
